Made with purple twill, two layers of cotton batting for insulation, and quilting cotton for the lining.
Size 34 for a tween girl.
Because I used buttons and not a zipper, I moved the wind flap to the underside. I also shortened the sleeve lining and lengthened the shell to compensate so the cuffs can be turned up 2 inches without showing the lining. Oh, and I straightened the taper at the end of the sleeve too so it would turn up more smoothly.

this time it is for me, it is rather thick, ready for Scottish winter, yet very light and soft, made from merino (navy and cream)
I couldn't face taking picture of me wearing the jacket as it has been so hot here, maybe next time..., but it fits well
my first jacket made using serger machine! yay!! structure and lining assempble with serger machine and the detail and finiryres are all handsewn.
