Jack visited the farm today, and wasn't interested in my treats at first, but soon enjoying them. He's a natural model, and a very good boy.

Mt. Rundle in the distance.
Took a detour from this Banff series to return to Banff for some more shots, and memorable experiences. Much to love there.
I'll continue this older set for a while till I get a chance to process some of the new ones.
Thanks for taking a look!
Enjoy a wonderful weekend!
Apart from fracturing my wrist and having to do one handed photography we had a great time at this May Day festival

Jack Frost on the window of my husband's truck. The bokeh was created by the sun beaming through my red bud tree.
Caribou Jack's BBQ is inside a hardware store in Soda Springs, Idaho. Their billboard in the bed of this old Dodge pickup could use an upgrade.
Swansea Jack was a famous Welsh dog (1930-1937) that rescued 27 people from the docks and riverside of Swansea. He was a black retriever and lived in North dock with his master William Thomas. He was awarded the canine VC. A memorial stands on the promenade. Swansea people are called Jacks and many local places carry the name....such as this barge.
This is a mugshot of Jack since he has been arrested many times for feeder robbery across the County.
I know this doesn't sound true, or possible, but, I wouldn't lie about something as trivial as this.
Because I'm RPing with him over at Port Mercer

First time ever RPing, was gonna go to New Helena but I got scareded.
I’ll be heading up here to Three Fingered Jack this weekend. I was going to give the aerial photo series a break for a while but couldn’t resit this final post after it inspired my backpacking destination. It’s a new location for me so should be an adventure. I hope to find some new pictures up there. And I’ll probably have a few more aerial shots to add eventually too.
Yet another shot from Jack Rabbit Trail in the Moreno Valley, CA badlands. I think I like this better than the other shot. The God beams are nice and I also like the rolling green hills. This will probably be the last one of these for a while. You should view this one LARGE. I uploaded a 1280px version rather than my usual 1024px. The details are pretty nice!

Had to do a double taken when I spotted this Jack Snipe handing around our wheelie bin during the recent snow storms. I had to sneak around the house and lie down behind my car to get eye level with this fantastic bird. Nature is full of surprises!

I think he's a burmese mix. Under a year old, Jack is still all kitten. Very curious by nature, fun loving and affectionate. Everything you'd want in a cat. =) Love him... been watching him and his litter mate Jill on and off since last february.

Day 336 of 365
So for the first time this winter we have snow in the forecast, which means we probably won't get any. Unlike most Baltimoreans, I actually hope for and want snow. My vehicle doesn't have a problem in it and I love the white stuff. If any appears it will probably just be some flurries that wont stick. It is promising for a whiter winter though. Usually, here in my part of Maryland we don't see any real snow until after the new year.
Of course this is good news for the grocery stores. here in Baltimore even the mention of snow throws most into a frenzy and they hit the grocery stores buying up all the milk, toilet paper and bread that they can. I've never really understood this behavior. In Maryland I've never seen so much snow that I've been stuck in the house more than a few hours due to snow, a day at the max and never have I found myself dependent on bread, milk and toilet paper for my continued survival. If I was living in Montana or something I might understand it, but it makes no sense in Baltimore. In Baltimore it's just a bit silly.
