My favorite iris blossomed today. I was taking shots of it in my garden here in Townsend today. As a last thought I took this one looking straight down into the heart of the flower. I find irises very beautiful, but this was a view I had not thought of before.

I hope that no one is getting tired of flower shots. It's that time of year, and I'm having a great time learning about my new garden.
I have had these for a few years and they finally bloomed after moving them to a sunnier spot. They were from the Iris Farm pictured later.

How wonderful to find these in the yard. Even though the temps are in the low 30s this morning, these two beauties remind me that Spring is here.
