Irises in the garden at Wollaton Park.
How wonderful to find these in the yard. Even though the temps are in the low 30s this morning, these two beauties remind me that Spring is here.

This iris looks like the inspiration for some types of Indian art. Perhaps it was.

One I took last year in our garden and gave a bit of a facelift with a nice border.
Mom planted irises years ago and they show up every year.
It is always good to stop and smell the iris. They are starting to bloom in our front yard.

These came back very nicely this spring. There should be enough to dig them up and give some away as well as increasing the size of the bed.
