After a couple days in and around Yosemite National Park, Kings Canyon - Sequoia National Park were next on the growing list on this adventure. Driving down alongside the Sierra Nevada's I chose not to take the main highway and go for the more scenic route. A little bit slower, but it didn't make sense to go west and then back east again. On this day, discovering more places to see was a surprise. In this shot, and making the way up the mountain, below is the Merced River here in California. What a view! .
