Here is another panorama I took of the setting Sturgeon full moon, this one only using 13 photos. This one is more compact and focused on the lighthouse, and I really like the drama of the waves in this composition. Pretty much the same process as the other image.
One thing I completely forgot to mention! The SCARIEST part of the whole post process was that after combing through 200+ photos and 4 hours of editing and stitching, my external hard drive failed to read any of the work: Raw files, JPEG files, and PS files were all gone! I waited an extra 3 hours of running chkdsk on the drive only for the directory to completely fail . LUCKILY I had all the RAW images still stored on the drone SD card. So I went back and basically redid everything from memory and saved to a separate external drive and my laptop's drive.
Lake Iroquois has been one of my favorite places to shoot photos. It's such a beautiful area year round, and a moonrise photo from the air has been on my bucket list for quite some time. With all the rainy weather that occurs often around the full moon (you kinda notice these things when you plan to shoot a fullmoon rise every month for the past 2 years only to have it rain the majority of the time). I was so happy with the clear skies last night. Of course go get this composition, I had to shoot a double exposure so that is not the true moon even though that is same location and the actual moon was taken a few minutes later.
This photo is a panorama of 60 photos stitched together to get the extreme wide angle, taken with a DJI Mini 2. The moon is just a single exposure taken with a Canon EOSR using a Tamron lens at 300mm.
Met a really nice couple while shooting the sunset from the top of Cathedral. Thanks @emdonahue21 and @donahuey_ for allowing me the photos. Was great talking with you both:) Enjoy the climbing. #visitnh #ignewhampshire #igersnewhampshire #visitnewengland #northconwaynh #climbnh #shotoncanon #canon6dmarkii #sunsets #ipulledoverforthis
