After a couple days in and around Yosemite National Park, Kings Canyon - Sequoia National Park were next on the growing list on this adventure. Driving down alongside the Sierra Nevada's I chose not to take the main highway and go for the more scenic route. A little bit slower, but it didn't make sense to go west and then back east again. On this day, discovering more places to see was a surprise. In this shot, and making the way up the mountain, below is the Merced River here in California. What a view! .

What do you do when you wake up in the early morning hours and can't sleep? Go out And shoot photos. PhotoPills showed that the moonset would be behind Main Street Landing, so I went straight downtown with my gear and got to test out my newly arrived, early birthday present: the Everyday Camera Line by Nomatic and Peter McKinnon.
Pretty happy with this shot, considering it's just a single exposure with a DJI Mavic Mini. No need to do composite photos to make it work.
