It's been a while since I last posted so here's something for a Throw Back Thursday of the time I went to Concubine Lane in Ipoh, Malaysia. The area used to be a red light district but has since become a tourist trap with many items from a different era. The door and door knocker reminded me of those old school martial arts movies. Pretty cool, eh?

This is the local brew of capuccino. I had this at Nam Heong kopitiam - the original shop where the famous Ipoh white coffee is made. The coffee here is far better than the 3-in-1 packs that are available in supermarkets. Notice the smooth, thick bubbles and white creamy stuff? You don't get that with the 3-in-1. In the background is my mum's cup - she ordered a hot one.
