As far as I know, H. never reformmated her 1st Gen ipod and never once updated the firmwear. So this ipod is pretty much pristine.

I find it highly amusing that the 1st Generation iPods came with iTunes installers for OS9. And that they came with a PDF of the FCC Compliance statement.

My iPod Video was still working, but the battery wouldn't keep a charge. It would only play for an hour or two, and even about four hours in standby would kill it. Time for surgery.

As you know I' m waiting for my sexy pink 2G Ipod. Like a good Trendy girl, I'm already looking for Fashionable Cases for it. And Apple, good marketer, offer me hot cases, beautiful as a designer case could be!
