msh0206-5: a love letter/note
(how about a love "ransom" letter?)
(only one more day to go - getting desperate. ^_^)
iPod Cozy made by Ellie
Made entirely from recycled materials....old swimming shorts for outside, leftover felt for inside, and two vintage buttons plus elastic to close (even the elastic was thrifted - it was holding new shoes together).
I won this ipod at a tweetup several months ago for being the person with the highest number of twitter followers present. I only use it when I'm jogging, and up until yesterday it contained most of the Sneaker Pimps first album and a few random tracks manually ripped from Dr. Horrible. But I wanted some variety, so I threw on some random happy music. I must have picked a magic combination, because last night's run was the easiest I'v ever had.
My coworker Jessica's 4th gen iPod finally gave out, after years of faithful service. She has the brilliant idea to head out on our lunch break and give the iPod a proper funeral. I went along to help out.

This bunny iPod cozy is also a new creation. He's the first one that I've made out of genuine wool felt instead of acrylic felt, so he feels much sturdier and better quality. I like that, but I'm also allergic to wool so it makes me itchy to sew with it. Anyway, I have a whole bunch of gray wool felt, so if I feel like torturing myself and if he sells well, I'll make some more. :-)
