With all the hype surrounding the iPhone X and the joy of having a working and reliable camera I forgot to take some photos of my iPhone 8 Plus which I got on launch day back in September. Almost two months on and I love this phone. Not only does it take great photos, it makes taking them easy. Annoyingly it's so good that I've hardly used my Canon 700D in the last few months but that's something I don't want to give up just yet so this is hopefully a kick start into using it again.

Our Daily Challenge: One Perfect....... iPhone pic! Some people get amazing shots with their mobile phones; not me! They are usually a disaster. This image shot in Traben-Trabach is an exception.The mobile phone captured the beautiful scene perfectly. This is SOOC with exception of sharpening. Not bad eh?
Also, it is a perfect for today. My Dad was a sailor, and today would have been his 95th birthday. He usually sailed at sea, but he would have loved this trip down the Rhine and Moselle rivers. Happy birthday, Dad -- I miss you!!!
