Two weeks hiking in northern Greece. The first week was spent visiting the floating monasteries at Meteora before climbing Mount Olympus. The second was in the Pindos Mountains in Zagori and then the Gramos region, which borders Albania.

Signs on the perimeter of the works on the flood relief pumps for York. Graffiti correctly points out on the “Funded by the UK Government” (no link to Brexit here when signs used to read Funded by the EU?) should read “by the UK tax payer”! Governments have no money, they are simply custodians of the publics’ cash.
