While in Bellingham a few days ago we walked by these bench/fence combos. There were three of them along the side wall of a small restaurant - maybe put out during covid restrictions? On and off rain so we didn't see anyone using them.
Palpable to the core. I stood there and could only marvel. The roaring water of the Swiss Alps before me and the magnificent mountain world around me. A moment of great awe swept over me. The crystal-clear, shimmering green water roared its way down into the valley. I was out on my motorcycle that day and made a short detour to this jewel of the Alps. Therefore, I only had my cell phone with me and couldn't capture the full splendor in the best possible quality. But the moment that truly fascinated and deeply impressed me was what counts, because the power of the water was so palpable that I'm still impressed by it today. I love nature in all its perfect beauty and uniqueness.

The iconic Marina Bay Sands in Singapore offers a degree of luxury most hotels could only wish to emulate - and of course comes with a price to match. A basic room there currently costs between $800 - $1000 per night, or more, depending on the time of year.
Views are to die for and, if a swim in the sky or losing money at the casino are your ideas of living it up, then you can indulge those pleasures as well.
Our residence was rather more budget but, with a bit of a walk, it did at least afford us some nice views of the place and perhaps dream of staying there one day.
