Its not often you see me with my legs in the air like this! This time though, I thought it would be a pleasant way to show off these fabulous Pleaser Stocking Boots! I hope you agree!
Here's another pic from my 2012 archives!
This body hugging shirred wet look lycra spandex tube style minidress was custom made for me by the wonderful folks at coquetryclothing.com using their "build your own minidress" feature! It matches up perfectly with the color of my thigh high gunmetal platform stocking boots from electriqueboutique.com with accents of my Osé Retina sparkly black Lurex fishnet hose from hosierée.com and my silver stretch satin opera gloves also form electriqueboutique.com!

This is the most remarkable image I've made in some time. I can't stop staring at it. The reflection somehow had less motion blur in it than the main image, so I flipped it and it draws the eyes in the right way and it just has this surreal look to it. The car seems as if it's going so fast it's outrunning its rear bumper.

RAND plastic toy camera (Diana clone) from the 1960s, I have no clue as to where or when this cheap plastic camera came to me, was great fun using it, and was pleasantly surprised by how the photos came out.

A monochrome tonally inverted image of Comet NEOWISE, captured on 21st July, with a Fuji X-T2, 100-400mm (@100mm fl), 15x 60 secs, ISO800. This results in a 16 degree field of view. Notice how the dust tail has fanned out and the total length of the ion tail exceeds the FOV.
What on earth is this? For one thing, it's not on earth! Today's sunspots, processed to highlight the crazy inferno of the chromosphere. The Chromosphere is a 1200 mile thick layer of fusing hydrogen just above the sun's surface. With my telescope rigged to capture only the light emitted by ionized hydrogen, I'm often surprised by the amazing patterns that emerge as I sharpen and adjust the contrast. Inverted, the spots which appear black through the sort of filter you might use to view an eclipse, appear white here.
