It was going to be a really lovely day so we went down to Beachy Head with Ruby we had a great walk and then lunch in the kiosk followed by a stroll along the promenade. Lots of things to see and so a few varied images

Two of the columns in the northwest corner of the Basilica Cistern in Istanbul have bases made from blocks that were carved with the visage of medusa. It is unknown where these two heads actually came from. It is also unknown why one of the heads is placed upside down and the other is placed sideways.
