Don't know what's happening to my laptop. All my colours are inverted. Even as I'm typing this.
Output to an external monitor is fine. Tried taking apart my laptop to check the video cable connection to the LCD panel, that looked ok. Was unable to disassemble the rest to check the vid cable connection to the motherboard. The external casing looked pretty brittle, and would not slide out easily even after unscrewing all the screws.
Btw, this is a 5 year old Toshiba Satellite 3000.

I went to a talk last night by Clarissa Peterson @clarissa at the CSS Brigade meetup. Her talk was on Responsive Colour in CSS. It was an incredibly interesting talk. She spoke about what creates colour how we see it, how a colour blind person see the world completely differently than a none colour blind person. She also recommend testing our website in black and white and in different light settings. In the process of me fiddling around with some of what she taught us I stumble on the invert colour function on my monitor and my flicker photo stream. Photography has always been a hobby for me, I don’t fancy my self a very good photographer but I have found over the years I defiantly have a style and a subject matter I prefer. Plants, flowers scenery or close ups of object you would normally not focus on. Nothing terribly unique but if you look through my photo you get this sense of calm, simple, nature. However, when I looked at the photos invert I got a completely different feeling. An out of this world uneasiness. Like I had stepped onto another plant and started exploring its environment. I’m fascinated by how some of my favourite photos, or even some boring photos were complete transformed by inverting the colour To the point that some are even unrecognizable with the original. I’ve uploaded a couple of my favourites and I hope that for a moment everyone can think little bit differently about colour and how we perceive colour.
Side note I was not tripping on some psychedelic when I did this, just me, my peppermint tea and my computer.
Inverted and adjusted for color. For some reason I really like this one. Might be my new wall paper.
