Inverted to possitive some old negatives found from my great aunt when she passed. No idea who is in the pictures.

I turned this picture upside down from the original.
There was a family crossing the bridge when I took the picture :)
What happens when you very heavily over expose Instax films? You get what looks like a negative image. When inverted, it looks like a filtered photo.
These are maybe 4-10 stops over exposed. The inverted ones with the black frame had no adjustments, just a straight color curve inversion.
I'd been trying to explain this engineering study to my mates....psyched to see it in the flesh
perfect tension=perfect compression....turn this puppy over and you have the shape of those dramatic gothic arches in the cathedral
I accidently clicked the invert button and loved the result. Sometimes the best things in life are a happy accident.
This converts the DC electricty from the panels in to 230V AC at 50Hz, and feeds back on to the grid (grid-connected PV).
Edited in Picnik, 43005 is seen heading a service from London Paddington passing Starcross en route to Dawlish and further west.
A spot of processing on a mask here, swapping the colour scheme round making white black & vice versa.

I tesselated this idea that I had yesterday. it's basically ilan garibi's cube tesselation but some of those cubes are inverted. this makes the collapse of the model considerably harder because you'd want the sides of the inverted cubes to stand up first. on the other hand was very friendly and a pleasure to work with.

The idea for this artwork came to my mind while sitting on the balcony early in the morning. I am looking forward to shot more photos like this because I like the effect of the inverted so much.
This showed up in front of my lense in Leuna, Germany.
The invertor is a modular design. If one component fails in service another can be quickly slotted in to take its place
Near the old Dominion Foundry there are a bunch of warehouses slated for demolition. Part of the new West Don Lands development site. Im a bit sad to see this old warehouse come down but a quick peek inside revealed nothing that exciting. One of the strange things about this place is a door that was once the entrance to a business. The doors message is Inverted. It says..
"Dont Let The Bastards Wear You Down"

This is illustrating an inverted pendulum to a child who was quite intrigued. It was part of the Ann Arbor Hands-on Museum exhibit (http://www.aahom.org/).
Inspired by various inverted-reflection shots that I’ve seen around Flickr, I thought I’d give it a try. I tried adding some blur to the real image (now upside down) but didn’t like the result, so decided to just leave it as is.
The original is so pretty and welcoming.... this is, well... not.
I like how ominous it looks.
I don't like... the purple grass. Don't ask why. I don't entirely know.
