found this fellow (lady?) in the wardrobe and helped him (her?) make his (her?) way back to the great outdoors. He must have seen some "Great Escape" type movies!
Edited in Picnik, 43005 is seen heading a service from London Paddington passing Starcross en route to Dawlish and further west.
A spot of processing on a mask here, swapping the colour scheme round making white black & vice versa.

A silly souvenir shot of my welsh ride: a Vauxhall (a.k.a. Opel) Meriva with the wheel on the wrong side and which I gladly managed not to smash into anything.
On the left is one of the Mymbyr lakes in Snowdonia, North Wales.
I tesselated this idea that I had yesterday. it's basically ilan garibi's cube tesselation but some of those cubes are inverted. this makes the collapse of the model considerably harder because you'd want the sides of the inverted cubes to stand up first. on the other hand was very friendly and a pleasure to work with.
you can also look at the back of this tesselation or detailed views of the front or the back.
Some out-take shots on an inverted hex twist.
Didn't care too much for the way they came out, and I did a better one later, but ended up cutting the whole bit anyhow.

The invertor is a modular design. If one component fails in service another can be quickly slotted in to take its place
Near the old Dominion Foundry there are a bunch of warehouses slated for demolition. Part of the new West Don Lands development site. Im a bit sad to see this old warehouse come down but a quick peek inside revealed nothing that exciting. One of the strange things about this place is a door that was once the entrance to a business. The doors message is Inverted. It says..
"Dont Let The Bastards Wear You Down"
Update: 2012 - This building is now demolished
This is illustrating an inverted pendulum to a child who was quite intrigued. It was part of the Ann Arbor Hands-on Museum exhibit (http://www.aahom.org/).
Inspired by various inverted-reflection shots that I’ve seen around Flickr, I thought I’d give it a try. I tried adding some blur to the real image (now upside down) but didn’t like the result, so decided to just leave it as is.
The original is so pretty and welcoming.... this is, well... not.
I like how ominous it looks.
I don't like... the purple grass. Don't ask why. I don't entirely know.

Gaudi used catenary shapes in many of his buildings. Thus he would make these inverted scale models of weighted string to figure out the shapes of ngled columns, arches, and single-curvature vaults.
Beyond that though this model used for the Church of Colònia Güell in the museum under the Sagrada FamÃlia is just strangely beautiful in itself. If only i'd gotten it in focus. Doh!
