Inverted, the colour hue changed to bring some of the original colours back. Brand new Arriva Wright Gemini 2 DL bodied VDL DB300 integral 1509 (YJ61OAB) speeds through Outwood with a service to Hall Green/Wakefield to Leeds.

This one is branded for the 110 service and has leather seats, it has replaced vehicles about 3 years old on this route.

Yes, the speed light placement was intentional

The device on the right is a Vasco Digipass 810 and is used by most Belgian banks clients for their web banking solution.

I don't know why they inverted the keyboard on the device compared to the numerical keypad where we are suppose to enter secure codes from the first ones. Maybe they want to force us to be careful.

An amazing ice spike in a birdbath. It is shaped like an inverted pyramid. The triangular shape come from crystal effects. You can see some surface crystals in the rest of the ice.

Inverter unit I built from a module I pulled out of a scrap conveyor belt system. All parts other than the socket were, scrap, surplus or secondhand. Built to run a 3 phase pillar drill.

Dead trees in a swamp reflecting against a reflected blue sky. The image has been turned upside down do add a sense of mystery. The lily pads look like UFOs.

See the original way up - I've posted it in the comments.

Sometimes I just have to experiment with colour and see what happens. Inverting the colours turned this white ball of fluff into something quite different and interesting.

Edited Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter image of inverted polygonal terrain in Schoner Crater on Mars.

Let's hope the sprog pilot survived the experience when this aircraft flipped. This rather grubby snapshot was found in a Simcoe, Ontario antique shop so the setting is likely an Ontario farm field during WW2. A few locals gawk in the background while two air force types survey the damage. The instructors who went up day after day with novice pilots were some of the war's unsung heroes. Can anyone make a positive ID of this aircraft? Harvard?

Composing through the inverted picture on a ground glass is a challenging, yet very rewarding experience. I find that it isolates the part of reality you are trying to capture and presents it to you not simply as a crop of what you see, but as a photograph. Interestingly, the same inversion happens in our eyes: the image in the retina is, too, inverted sideways and upside down. Our brain, though, learns to compensate for it from day 0.

The 180 amp +12 bus bar is connected to a battery disconnect switch and through the switch to a 120 amp relay which receives 12 volts from upfitter switch 2. The output of the relay is passed through a 100 amp fuse to the inverter. The relay output is connected to the output of a second 120 amp relay that will be connected to the house battery. The negative sides of the relays are switched to ground such that they can both be disabled or one or the other selected but not both.

This inverter will take power from the trailer's battery and create a source of 110 volt 60 cycle power. It is installed under the front driver side bench seat. The power is supplied to the top half of three of the power outlets in the trailer. Inverter power is also supplied to the exterior 110 volt outlet. An outlet was installed under the passenger side bench seat to allow switching the exterior outlet from shore power to inverter power. The inverter can be turned on and off with a toggle switch located next to the front power outlet. See gpelectric.com/

When we are dry camping or driving the battery will be charged with our solar panel through the solar power controller, which is at the bottom of the photo.

SAFETY ALERT! (Sept 26 2013.) I have just become aware that supplying both inverter power and shore power to the same outlet box is a hazard if there is any possibility of power being on in one of the outlets while off on the other, since an unsuspecting person opening the box may be put in a hazardous situation. To solve this problem I am in the process of buying and installing a manual transfer switch so that power to the outlets can be switched from shore power to inverter power. Both top and bottom outlets will be at the same voltage.
