EasyJet has for years been sporting their aircraft in special colours... Of all them, one of their earliest special colour scheme goes to G-EZUI, which earns the distinction for being the 200th Airbus to be delivered new to EasyJet back in 2011.
To celebrate, Airbus unveiled the 200th aircraft for EasyJet in special inverted colours, the overall fuselage in orange and the logo in white. It took just under 4 years until EasyJet took delivery of its 250th brand new Airbus, but that colour scheme is much simplified in comparison to the 200th which you can't miss!
EasyJet has for over a decade been a major Airbus customer, replacing the Boeing 737's that the company first started using when founded back in 1995. The company has expanded with a new fleet, starting with Airbus A319's which first began delivery in 2003-2004 and soon Airbus A320's in 2009. The company will add 30 Airbus A321neo's from 2018 following a conversion of 30 Airbus A320neo's orders early in May 2017.
Currently, EasyJet have a massive Airbus A320 family fleet with 244 in service, which includes 132 Airbus A319's and 112 Airbus A320's. EasyJet have on-order 22 Airbus A320ceo's, 100 Airbus A320neo's and a recent order for 30 Airbus A321neo's.

I did this one two different ways. This is an older shot that I took with one of my first digital cameras, and it was processed with the Kodak Easyshare software. I was already learning how to play around with my photos, and used Photo Explosion for things like signatures, and to do editing that required things like airbrush. I guess as soon as I realized that you could alter a photo, I just had to do it!
The original edit and the latest edit are below. Although I prefer the blues and greens of the original, there was something so ethereal about the inverted image, that I really loved it.
It seems I'm fascinated with backlighting glass and other objects. I didn't realize I had the patience to set up these shots, but apparently, I do.

Poem.
Norman origins-1070.
Rounded arches on the North Tower.
Elaborate West Façade and entrance.
Inverted “hull” shape of a tall Nave.
Stone-framed, stained glass “Rose Window.”
Stub-branched, decorative pinnacles.
Smooth-arched Flying-Buttresses.
Sculpted figures of Apostles, Saints and Biblical Characters.
Protective nearby walls dating from Roman to Medieval times.
Extensions and additions with Early English Pointed Arches.
And now the sooty grime of 300 years of coal-powered
industry and home chimneys is being removed.
The sandstone is a clean, pleasing mellow yellow again.
Though the sandstone faces on the West Façade have been dissolved and weathered by airborne chemicals,
the ancient, resilient spirit of this Church and City,
is still vitally alive!

My appreciation for all of you insect photographers grew immensely today. I added a 12mm extension tube to my EF-S 55-250mm Canon zoom lens set at 250mm to get closer to my constantly moving subjects on Sedum blossoms. What a workout to get a usable shot.
Ok - i know it seems like we are always on vacation, but i was home a whole month before we left again. Now we are on a short trip to Mexico - our friends had free accommodations for us, so we couldn't pass it up. We spent the last two days around Mexico City, staying with the son of famous Mexican musician Joan Sebastian in Cuernavaca. We went into Mexico City for one night as our friend Daedelus was playing a show there. The next day we drove up to Taxco, and today we flew to Cancun where our other friend's parents have a time share.
We are kind of avoiding the Holiday shopping rush, and our trusty assistant got called off on short notice to a big photo gig on the East Coast, and we have no internet here unless we walk ten minutes and pay $7 an hour, but we trained a new shipping girl shortly before we left and have riskily left our business in the hands of this 20 year old stranger, but she seems like smart and trustworthy and she is shipping out orders for people.
What else - oh, the day we left Paneer, one of our cats came down with a bladder infection or something like it, and our cat/ housesitter said he still isn't peeing much so kozy is pretty worried. She will cheer up once we start scuba diving off Cozumel though I am sure. The only thing that makes he happy as her cats do is scuba diving.
OK - I am just rambling, but i wanted to let a few people that we have been out of touch with know that we are alive and well and doing good and will be home lickity split.
