An outtake from a previous concept on shooting from a different perspective. It was a cold morning in the low 30's and inversion seemed like a quick way to accomplish this. meh..... I'm behind on everything.....so outtakes are the order of the day. Happy Sunday!
My appreciation for all of you insect photographers grew immensely today. I added a 12mm extension tube to my EF-S 55-250mm Canon zoom lens set at 250mm to get closer to my constantly moving subjects on Sedum blossoms. What a workout to get a usable shot.

Another busy week been and gone yay……. Although I'm not sure that I should be wishing my life away :-)
I’ve been meaning to try this for a year now but I’ve just never got around to doing it.
Anyhow the other day I cleared out the garage so that I could build my water drop setup and do other photography based projects.
I took over 200 photos and got a couple of keepers, well I got loads that were in focus but I only got a couple that had the smoke formations that I was looking for!
I think that when I do these again I’ll have a better idea of how achieve what I want… you should give it a go it’s pretty good fun!!
I’ve got another one of these that I’m working on but I’ll save that upload for another day.

C's latest purchase of our favorite UK brand, House Of Bruar. She got this one in Black Watch tartan, and the skirt's just plain gorgeous on her. The a-line hints of box pleated kilted, but the silhuette is more slim making it perfect when pursuing a bit more modern look than her usual kilted appearance when in pleats.
