it still needs a lot of work, just a progress screen shot.
New arrival at the Strobe headquarters - the intuos 5 is one of those pieces of kit that makes you wonder how you managed without it for so long.
Okay, so it's just an Acer Gemstone Blue, right? Hmm, but what's that reflected in the screen? Could it be... a shoot-through umbrella poised in front of a monolight? I think so! Yes, a quick late night test of one of the lights that's been sitting here in a box since Thanksgiving. Let there be...
Beautiful Sunday morning at twilight in Taarbæk Harbor north of Copenhagen. Have been playing with HDR (Grunge) and my new graphics tablet Intuos.4 and complimentary colors. In addition, the thought of Rule of Thirds :-)
A torn poster on a wood plank. I've always loved wood for it's grain and texture. Photoshop CS4 and Intuos 4M
The final design of my Steampunk Wedding Dress
Created using the software Krita and a Wacom Intuos tablet.
Here's a painting I just finished up for a friend of mine to give as a Christmas gift. I created the art digitally (using Art Rage, Photoshop and Wacom Intuos), and then had it inkjet printed to canvas.
I then stretched it across canvas, sealed it with an acrylic coat, painted the edges out, and wired it for hanging.

High-end photo editing workstation on an AV cart at the new Batcave, San Francisco, California; October 2011. Nikon D7000 and Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 AF-D lens, using ambient light. (Not pretty, but after moving into a new apartment, I found myself short on space, in a hurry to get back into ready-to-edit mode, and this was the inelegant, geeky interim solution; still, it actually works - even the Intuos pen tablet and USB3 gizmos. I'm calling it "Igor".)

Tracing of American Weekly 3740. I hope to start making tracings of my pattern packet illustrations to make concept drawings.
Messing around, finally, with the Intuos4 drawing pad my dad got me for Christmas. I've tried to tell him not to get me any more technology since I never have time to learn to use it, but at least this is pretty simple. I made a copy of the original pattern illustration, cleaned it up a little, then faded it to as pale a gray as I could still see, then traced over it in a darker color and erased the original wherever it showed under the tracing. I'm sure there's a more efficient method, but this worked pretty well.
Yes, drawing pad users everywhere are laughing at me, but this is the first time I've ever used the thing, so cut me some slack.
