program the sliders and buttons. just like intuos 3.
the top right button is default switch for tablet mode to the first monitor or switch to cintiq drawing.
This is my first drawing with my new intuos tablet. I´m pretty thrilled about it but I have to learn a lot to use it like a pen I guess.
Haha, so my wacom intuos 4 tablet finally arrived. Tried to really get everything out of the photo this time, I even used the liquify tool or however that's called :D Never used it before! But I think I didn't do too bad at that.
So there you go, before an after!
(I know, I overdid something too much e.g. the eyes :P)

Man, this thing is so slick. The only downside are the express keys - the way they are arranged makes it pretty hard to use them for longer sessions, and you have to press them way too hard to respond, unlike regular keyboard keys.
Other than that it´s very thin, has a very pleasing surface and the actual drawing space is rougher than previous models (though it´s the same as on the Bamboo), which makes it very satisfying to work with and doesn´t feel like a cheap excuse for not actually working with real pens anymore.
Oh, and it has over 2000 stages of pressure sensitivity now (twice as much as the last Intuos and 4 times as much as the Bamboo), and while this sounds pretty abstract and technical it results in lines that look just a lot smoother and natural than before.
(This screen kicks ass, by the way, I can tilt, move and swivel it as much as my heart desires - even the feet say "serious business". Also, the USB stick on the left makes it look like the screen is smoking a stubby cigarette.)
This overlay on your monitor gives a quick summary of your tablet's and pen's current settings, giving access to the preferences pane in System Preferences too. You can trigger it however you like; by default, a five-finger downwards swipe on the tablet will show it.

This was my first flyer ever, so I really didn't know what the hell I was doing. I really enjoyed illustrating it though (-:
