Haven't used this wacom intuos 4 nearly as much as I should have this past year. This and apple's trackpad make editing such a breeze, and a must have for those with carpal tunnel.

This is my new Cintiq 12wx Wacom Tablet. I never really got used to illustrating with a normal wacom intuos. I've owned and used them for years, but it was always hard to draw precise lines. Drawing on the Cintiq has pretty much eliminated this problem. It still takes some getting used to, but it's just so much more natural feeling than an intuos.

This appears on the left side of your main screen when you lay your finger onto any of the tablet's ExpressKeys (which are capacitive, to detect your fingers' presence). You actually physically press the keys to trigger them, so you can just lay your finger on them at any time for this quick on-screen reminder of what each one is currently configured to do - without looking away from your monitor.
Image taken for a client early May 2013. House to be rented to students fully furnished.
Image is a blend of 3 - 8 images, initially blended using EnfuseGUI Lightroom plugin, then manually tweaked and further blended in Photoshop CS4 using masks & a Wacom Intuos 3 tablet.
This is a digital painting from a location portrait taken in New Orleans at Jackson Square. The painting was performed using Corel Painter x3 and a Wacom Intuos Pro tablet.

Image digitally blended using at least 3 images as the light was awful at this time of day (early morning). Blending done using Enfuse LR plugin to begin with, then refined manually in Photoshop where necessary.
The red one (Evo 9) is mine. With the help of my friend with the grey Skyline, I lowered it yesterday so the stance is now a bit better and the handling has been improved through the really tight stuff! :)

My first mac (pro) arrived today :) i love it!
From the left:
- the software (adobe cs4 design premium, office for mac, extensis suitcase fusion)
- eizo flexscan 2130W,
- eye-one calibrator,
- eizo color edge cg241W,
- apple keyboard + mighty mouse,
- wacom intuos 4L.
Under the table (so far) stands the fresh new apple mac pro (1x2.93 Intel Xeon Quad Core, 8gb ECC RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GT 120 512MB GDDR3).
Finally I say I have a professional workspace ;)
It's a lovely thing to look at and touch. All black rubber. The buttons on the left are capacitive, so you can rest your finger on them to see an on-screen overlay (on your monitor) showing their functions. You press the buttons to actually trigger them.
----------------
Now I'm in a time to bicycle tires!
And I made this keyring with the remains of the first work I did, the belt here.
It's a gift to a dear friend.
For those who like to work with think leather change it to bicycle tires is an excellent echo option.
I'm just an amateur with the tires, but I intuit that to make works of small and medium size, everything you want to make with leather, can be done with tires (except clothes, of course).
So why not to try it!
It is exciting to look at them so ugly and worn, thrown there, in a corner or in the bed of the street, and then thinking to yourself what they want to become in order to live more than one BIT!

Intentando hacer un "ángel" con los brazos y las piernas, como los que se hacen en la nieve... Creo que me falta más comedor para poder hacerlo bien, jajaja!
¡Feliz Navidad y feliz año nuevo!
Yesterday we bought a Wacom Intuos tablet to Bay could start creating art on the computer. Of course I had to join him! So I woke up extra early this morning so I could have the Intuos tablet all to myself! Here's an early version of some doodling.
a Wacom Intuos 3 4x6 tablet, I never thought I'd find one useful but after getting a 5 min demo from Wacom at WPPI in Las Vegas I was totally sold... I can't draw at all, but this thing gives me all kinds of control and speeds up my editing and retouching work, I highly reccomend checking one out.
Tech Details:
Lighting provided by two White Lighting X1600 strobes, one to camera left difused into a large softbox, and the other to camera right with a 7" reflector and barn doors to help control light spill (both set to 1/3rd power). For many artists and designers, creative expression starts on paper with the help of a favorite pencil, pen or brush. Only after starting their concepts on paper and scanning the results do artists and designers fire up their computers and start their digital workflow. But what if one could skip the scanning step and have editable, digital ink versions of sketches available at the touch of a button with the power to refine and complete the sketches later with Wacom's most natural pen tablet experience? Enter the new Wacom Intuos Pro Paper Edition - The pen tablet that works the way you do.
