Anyone notice the repaired backdrop or does the colour change make it irrelevant?

ok so yes i have watched atonement (amazing movie by the way). So i had to do a war picture for my task 1 round 2 of Miss Starless Beauty forums.sims2community.com/showthread.php?t=52223&page...
This pic is so Film Noir/ Femme Fatal inpired. And a little Atonement inspired.
The male in the picture is my wanna be Kevin Rose sim minus his usual stubble (that isn't turning out like i wanted to)
i'm very impressed with the hair didn't take as long as you would think only about 15 min or so.
And when i was making this my GIMP crashed and i hadn't saved it. Thankfully i took a screen capture and took what i could get (which was smaller version of the original picture)
I can go on and on, on how much i love this picture so much! The red accents makes Jackie stand out and my Kevin looks so handsome! Don't get me started on Jackie's hair because I love it.
I feel so proud! (i've showed like everyone i know , and when i showed my parents they brought up the tablet discussion again and yes I HAVE A TABLET NOW WOOOT! its a Wacom 4x6 intuos 3 and its amazing. )
Made with :
Sims 2 (Background in game with vintage effect) (sims poses all in game none of it edited ; took me like an hour to get them like that and get them looking at each other at the perfect time)
Also made with:
GIMP 2.4
Paint.NET

Shot this a few years back. Playing in post with my new Wacom Intuos 4 Pen Tablet a good friend gave me.......
Image digitally blended using at least 3 images as the light was awful at this time of day (early morning). Blending done using Enfuse LR plugin to begin with, then refined manually in Photoshop where necessary.

An older photo that I'm retouching as part of an effort to learn how to effectively use a graphics tablet (an Intuos Pro - Small). It's something I've been meaning to do for a while, actually-- ever since I became aware of just how much control was exercised over an individual print in the darkroom days, I've been hoping to bring a similar level of commitment to editing the shots I enjoy, be they digital or film. This photo is of a young girl who ran up to one of the many costumed performers who dot NYC's tourist hotspots, giving the "icon" a big hug around the legs. Good thing no one fell! Self-developed Kodak T-MAX 100.
Image taken for a client early May 2013. House to be rented to students fully furnished.
Image is a blend of 3 - 8 images, initially blended using EnfuseGUI Lightroom plugin, then manually tweaked and further blended in Photoshop CS4 using masks & a Wacom Intuos 3 tablet.
So, I got a Pogo Stylus to try out with the iPad and Sketchbook Pro. It's close, but still not there. The feel is like drawing with a Q-Tip, and you have to push down harder than you'd expect.
I also have a few issues with Sketchbook Pro's interface: I found myself zooming in and positioning the drawing surface to favour the lower right-hand of the iPad so I could have my palm rest off of the surface (to lessen the amount of phantom strokes) I really don't like the 3-finger swipe to undo/redo, as it really takes you out of the flow of having to switch the stylus out of your hand to do the swipe. I'd much prefer the option to set a left screen tap for undo and a right screen tap for redo. Additionally, I found myself tapping WAY too much just to bring up the brush size, then move to top to select brush just to change colours, than tap outside to close menu, etc. TOO MUCH TAPPING!
I will say that I was able to get much better control than with just my finger, but was getting fatigued after 1/2 hour or so because you have to press hard with this stylus for it to take effect.
Can someone (*cough* WACOM) PLEASE develop a truly pressure-sensitive, bluetooth stylus with a real nib that works like a Cintiq or Intuos?!
I've wanted one of these since I was like 13 years old. Finally got one a few weeks ago. I'd talk about how great it works, but I actually haven't really had time to play with it. I never thought the day would come that I'd have too many toys and not enough time...=[
I wasn't planning on unploading two pieces tonight, but I forgot to upload a piece last Wednesday so I am making up for it today.
I got a great assignment in my digital illustration class in college which entailed me creating a stained glass piece. I was thrilled with the concept and went all in!
I lost count of the number of hours I put into this. I laid it out in Illustrator, and took it into photoshop. most all textures are hand-done, except an overlay layer in the hat (though the under layers are hand-done)
Photoshop CS6/wacom intuos 4/5 tablet
Tell me this isn't one beautiful piece of hardware? This little guy is part of Wacom's Intuos 4 series of professional tablets. I'll be reviewing it more in depth but after using it for only a few hours, it already feels like a natural extension of my desktop. The Installation was seamless on my Mac running Snow Leopard, it works right out of the box with Lightroom 3 and CS4, and let me tell you… using the adjustment brush has never been more fun.
Stay tuned…

I was just working in Photoshop... I flipped the stylus over in a rare maneuver to use the eraser end, and when I applied pressure, the eraser went into the body and the barrel of the stylus slid forward!
Thankfully I didn't loose those tiny springs!
I got it back together and glued the seam of the barrel so it would be less likely to happen again, but yikes!
