My sister Deanne Coles-Christensen is a gifted decorator. I helped her shoot these photos of her incredible home in Santa Fe that she’s sadly leaving after ten years. She's moving to Salt Lake City this week.
Deanne’s philosophy as an interior designer is to use her clients’ existing objects — those items with personal history and meaning — rather than purchase a bunch of new stuff. If you could use some of this beauty in your life, hire her. She’s now available for consultations and no job is too big or small.
I-5 created a lounge design and custom décor package that would enhance the existing features and gives the lounge a new look while maintaining the inviting atmosphere.

Here's the bed area of my San Francisco studio which is finally complete.
The wall tiles are MIO's Acoustic Weave, painted a plain eggshell white. The walls around them are actually off white, so the wall maintains a slight contrast from the rest of the apartment. They are hung on a wall painted the same white using 3M temporary hanging tape, so they all come down reasonably easily with a razor scraper to take off straggling adhesive. There are only two nails in this wall that hold up the lithograph, a 30-pound piece that I have hung using a 75-pound hanger for earthquake stability.

My home office was cluttered and hard to get around in. The design was pretty and didn't need to be changed but it needed to be made more functional, after all I work out of my house and need to be "happy" in this room. Now, without spending one cent the room looks gorgeous and new. I can't wait to get up in the morning and get my coffee and check my e-mails. I like it so much I'm finding it harder and harder to leave. You can re- think a room and re-do it by just moving furniture around and changing the layout. It feels brand new and you didn't have to spend any money. Now even my oldest dog, Maggie can fit in here better and hang out with me and my four year old son. My dog sleeps, my son plays with his toys and I can write an article or two!! Now that is a happy environment to work in. posted from moblog moblog.net/view/884745/spring-clean-your-office-makeover-...

We have a projector instead of a traditional TV. It's nice in that it takes up less space, but as of right now, that wall has nothing on it. I'm looking for some ideas on what to do with this wall when it's not being "projected upon". Possibly a quilt, tapestry, or large photo graphics...
The custom elements within the new gaming floor design were fabricated and pre-assembled offsite in order to ensure the implementation could be achieved within the most efficient time onsite and with minimal disruption to casino operations.

Situated in the western Boston suburbs, this beautiful Colonial-era home needed an addition to make it more family-friendly. We worked in tandem with an architect to help design the addition “from the inside out” – one of our favorite things to do. Our clients wanted to make sure the feeling of their 1780’s home came through in the details of the addition, so we designed the new fireplace surround and entertainment area millwork in a traditional raised panel style, while incorporating needed storage. As the addition was completed, our clients then asked for more interior design services, which went on to include the selection of all furniture, fabrics, finishes and accessories.
It's silly, but I've always wanted to have an apartment with a chain lock so I could be like the people in the movies who open the door just a crack to see who it is.
The new entrance structure was designed to make the lounge visible to all patrons from anywhere on the gaming floor.
