For this North Shore estate, a former 1907 stable and carriage house, we provided both the interior architectural design for a complete renovation, as well as interior design and interior decorating services. This 5,600 s.f. condo was completely transformed from a 1980’s developer package into a stylish, upscale home with significant European panache. We not only added all of the architectural details and cabinetry, but selected furniture, fabrics, accessories and artwork. This project has received numerous awards and has thus far been published in two magazines.
"A splash of patterns, all blue and white, gives this dining room a delightful liveliness. The chinoiserie design on walls and curtains, the simple plaid used for blinds and chair seats, the lacing of lattice on the rug, bring out the best in each other. Solid blue chair frames and a white chest anchor the dominant colors; mellow wood dining and side tables and a crystal chandelier maintain their classic distinction in a roomful of pattern."
(I don't think "delightful," "simple," or "mellow" are the right words to describe...)
