Running Sculpture + Aarhus by Light is an experimental, interactive dance performance especially made for the media facade of Concert Hall Aarhus by Archauz and CAVI. The dancers are tracked by three cameras and integrated live by a VJ into an interactive video performance, backed by a hefty beat. We celebrate light in our pictures. Understanding how light interacts with the camera is paramount to the work we do. The temperature, intensity and source of light can wield different photography effect on the same subject or scene; add ISO, aperture and speed, the camera, the lens type, focal length and filters…the combination is varied and multi-layered and if you know how to use them all, you will come to appreciate that all lights are useful, even those surrounded by a lot of darkness.
We are guided by three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, our longing to capture in print, that which is beautiful, the constant search for the one picture, and constant barrage of new equipment and style of photography. These passions, like great winds, have blown us across the globe in search of the one and we do understand the one we do look for might be this picture right here for someone else out there.

Este sprint consiste na montagem uma instalação interactiva que poderá ser controlada local e remotamente, através de um sistema mecânico e através de um serviço web. O objectivo deste projecto é aproximar o público em geral da actividade do laboratório, criando um interface com o mundo exterior.
Os sprints são sessões de trabalho intensivas em que os membros dos laboratórios, assim como visitantes e convidados se juntam em equipas para trabalhar em projectos concretos durante um fim-de-semana.

Put Your Fashion Sense to the Test in Colorful 3D
The fashion-themed fun of Style Savvy takes a big step forward in Style Savvy: Trendsetters. Players are invited to flaunt their sense of style by running a fashion boutique and providing clientele with customized looks they'll love. Along the way, players must keep their inventory fresh and their customers happy by choosing from more than 12,000 clothing items and accessories, representing a range of more than 20 distinctive brands. With outfits coordinated by one of America's top stylists, this interactive experience is a must-have for fashion-minded fans everywhere.
FEATURES:
The main challenge in Style Savvy: Trendsetters is to figure out each customer's taste and select items from an expansive virtual inventory to satisfy his or hers unique sense of style. The happier customers are, the more likely they'll be to request more outfits and boost players' sales.
Players can choose from more than 12,000 clothing items and accessories to stock their stores. The game's built-in variety of brands and clothing lines represent a vibrant array of fashion tastes and trends, from the Asian-inspired Kanokoi to the preppy Harlow Heights to the Goth-style Raven Candle. Additional brands and items will be available to download from the Nintendo eShop at no added cost (wireless Internet access required).
In addition to hand-selecting their inventory, players can customize the look of their shop's interior and exterior, decorate their in-game apartment and coordinate their hair and makeup to match their outfits.
Building on the fun of the original Style Savvy, Style Savvy: Trendsetters introduces elements such as bags and purses, an in-game photo studio and the addition of male customers and menswear. Players can also use the AR Photo Shoot feature to create images that blend characters, motions and music from the game with real-world surroundings.
Style Savvy also lets players connect with their friends and other fashionistas around the world. An online shopping portal called Fashion Plaza lets players visit and shop at the boutiques of other players from North America and Europe. Players can also use the built-in StreetPass feature to exchange Profile Cards with other players. Each time players encounter each other via StreetPass, they will have the opportunity to coordinate an outfit based on the criteria listed on the Profile Cards. Also, up to four players can collaborate on a full-on virtual fashion show via local wireless connection.
Additional Style Savvy demo experiences will be available for players with wireless Internet access to download from the Nintendo eShop at no cost. In the Fashion-Contest Demo, users create an outfit based on a given theme and compete for top honors. In the Shopping-Experience Demo, they can select items from their in-game closet and visit the Fashion Plaza to see outfits that other players have created.

The University of Dalat (UDL) is located in the center of the city of Dalat - a popular tourist city on Lam Vien Plateau with a year-round cool climate, endless pine forests, flowers, fog, and waterfalls
The University Institute of Dalat was founded in 1958. In 1975, it was reorganized after the unification of the country and has become a multi-field public university with more than 13,000 students.
The university campus sits on a hilly area of 40 hectares north of Xuan Huong Lake, beside an international 18-hole golf course. The campus is also one of the numerous romantic and beautiful spots in Dalat. There is a variety of styled buildings hidden throughout the pine trees. The campus offers peace and quiet which is an ideal atmosphere for learning and research.

Creature design by Christopher Irvin, artist and independent film maker. You interact with his creature by pressing the buttons on it's front arms. They're all controlled by servos that move up and down so it's kind of a trip to try and interact with it. The base houses a computer which controls the servos and runs the interaction program & videos.

We recently visited California Science Center and checked in on four exhibits we developed back in 2004. All four are still going strong! Two are pictured here. The kiosk on the left was authored in Macromedia Director and the interactive video in the car window was authored using Apple DVD Studio Pro. The Clean Power kiosk was American Alliance of Museums MUSE Award winning exhibit in 2005.
Word is that the Clean Power exhibit will come down this year or early next. The exhibit stayed up longer than anyone expected! CalSci has been really busy especially with the addition of the Space Shuttle Endeavor to the museum in 2012.
SXSW 2013 ran from March 8 to 17.
The big-budget films The Incredible Burt Wonderstone and Evil Dead premiered at the 2013 SXSW Film, and Spring Breakers had its U.S. premiere. The film Short Term 12 won the grand jury award for Best Narrative Feature. The films Cheap Thrills and Haunter received distribution deals, and Drinking Buddies obtained a distribution deal several days later.
The 2013 SXSW Interactive saw another huge jump in registration, now with 30,621 paying attendees. This was over three times the number that had attended in 2008 (9,000), just five years previously. The keynote talk for the 2013 SXSW Interactive was given by SpaceX CEO Elon Musk. The "Screenburn" and "Arcade" components were renamed to "SXSW Gaming" and "SXSW Gaming Expo", respectively.
The Interactive conference was noted for its increased corporate presence, featuring major participation by Samsung, 3M, Target, American Airlines, Adobe Systems and AT&T, among others. CNN, CBS and CNET called Grumpy Cat the undisputed "biggest star" of SXSW Interactive over Musk, Al Gore and Neil Gaiman.
