Interreaction is my master's thesis in communication design. The book is about interactive systems in physical space. It is meant to give communication designers an insight into the world of interaction design. Thus it enables them to make concepts for interactive projects and better communicate with the interaction designers in the team.
Hybrids is a collaboration between two research initiatives at AHO. The exhibition marks the end of RECORD - a research project investigating ways of using the social web in the design of new social services. Hybrids is also one of the outputs of HYBRID - an exploratory project investigating the connection between physical products and digital services.

CNN seemed to be the most conservative in their stats - while all the other news sites were racing ahead in their 'projection' numbers, CNN stuck to the facts and showed modest vote increases.
Annoyingly there was no manual refresh button - I believe the site updated automatically but in an event where I don't have much control I still wanted the illusion of control - I kept switching between tabs or hitting browser refresh to see some sort of update.

During early phases, sketchy mockups are used to elicit feedback on particular design element and behavior possibilities. Keeping the mockup sketchy encourages reviewers to focus on larger questions of functionality and design rather than being distracted by details which look too finished. At bottom right, a text bubble proposes behavior of the product not directly tied to design elements shown.
