The subway ticket application was easy to figure out.
One nice bit: all of the selection process takes place on the same screen even though there are multiple selections to make, like number of tickets, train line, and desired stop.
One confusing bit: Each ticket, no matter where you're coming from and where you're going to, costs 2 Yuan (Renminbi, CNY, å…ƒ). So why would you need to specify your destination? Is it the man?

Interreaction is my master's thesis in communication design. The book is about interactive systems in physical space. It is meant to give communication designers an insight into the world of interaction design. Thus it enables them to make concepts for interactive projects and better communicate with the interaction designers in the team.

I saw this creen when registering for Shozu. It's use and application of Captcha technology astounds me in terms of accesibility.
Many of the rooms had buzzers for her to call upon a servant. The buzzers were wired to this box, which tripped a number to drop on its horizontal hinge and display in the glass grid. A servant--and there was one on call 24/7--would glance at the box and know from the displayed number in which general part of the house she was in.
You can reset it by pressing the plunger at the bottom upwards.
