What is the difference between these terms?

participation / interaction / engagement / exchange

If we put them in order from weak to strong:

awareness

curiosity

drawing attention

onlooking

participation

interaction

engagement

Interaction is dialogue and response, it's an action and reaction, it's two-way

Interaction does not equal exchange, you don't even have to be there to exchange.

You can't interact without being engaged.

Engagement can be without interacting. You can be engaged and just be observing, or just participating.
