With Google Gears installed, I took a look at the process for bringing my feeds offline. The menu item is pretty innocuous, but Google uses layers to cue the user to its presence, and then provide feedback for the download progress and overall state.

What in the name of all that is holy is a CAPTCHA doing on an unsubscribe page!?! A CAPTCHA is to keep robots from getting in - not prevent humans from getting out. What sort of customer experience is this? "Hey, you might have a valid e-mail address and all that jazz but you might still be a robot and we're going to make damn sure before we let you out of here. In fact, no one makes it out of Fire Swamp so I'm not sure why we're worried!"
