Etwa 3000 Kartoffelsorten wachsen in Peru und Bolivien. Der Tausendschön Dein Gemeinschaftsgarten begibt sich in die Welt der Papas, Aardappelen. Batates, pommes de terre, ssib-sammini, Krumpir oder wie sie in Deutschland heißen, Kartoffel.
„In die Erde mit den Papas – Kartoffelvielfalt am Sonntag im Tausendschön Dein Gemeinschaftsgarten in Minden war mit rund 150 Menschen eine gelungene Veranstaltung und ein voller Erfolg! Sonne, blauer Himmel haben die gute Laune der großen und kleinen Gäste aus 12 Kulturen erstrahlen lassen.
Gemeinsam haben wir ein starkes Zeichen für Vielfalt, Kreativität, Genuss und Lebensfreude gesetzt.
16 Kartoffelsorten wurden in Eimer, Kübel, Töpfen und auf den Acker gepflanzt.
43 kg Gemüse zu einer leckeren Kartoffelsuppe während einer Schnippelparty verarbeitet.

Using some Portra 160, one of my favorite films, with the M4 and M5 in different environments. Weirdly, two of three rolls the ends released out of the cannister after the last shot. Either I've become a superman to advance the film to break it from the end, or I just got very unlucky. Used the Cinefilm C41 kit, which when I keep in the dark and with very limited air in the containers, lasts a fairly long time. Thanks to those flickeranians who keep us all inspired to get out there and use our equipment.

Isolation and integration was based on a painting by Pieter Paul Rubens entitled Samson and Delilah. Rubens focuses on the way light hits the figures and places great attention on the anatomy of the figures. These two elements portrayed by the piece served as my main source of inspiration. This piece was created using primarily Indian ink, conté and acrylic paint. All of the figures derived from a series of photographic studies. Consequently, I attempted to create a certain confusion between the foreground presenting the figures and the background, depicting abstract shapes derived from a mark making project. The painting measures 90.5x180 cm on a panel.

Advancing National Integration (ANI) is a USAID project, implemented by the UN Association of Georgia (UNAG). The project renders a complex set of activities that aim to support civic integration across diverse ethnic and geographic boundaries in Georgia.
Within its youth component, ANI introduced a centerpiece of its youth work – 13 Youth Centers (YCs) throughout Georgia that enroll thousands of young Georgians in civic education and activism. All project activities of ANI’s youth component are targeted towards promoting civic values and activism among young generations of Georgia across its geographic and ethnic boundaries. Through learning and practice, ANI’s youth participants are offered the opportunity to grow into tolerant, socially responsible, aware and creative collaborators, who think critically and are actively engaged in their community lives.
All the initiatives and activities conducted within the youth component are directed towards changing the ways the young people of Georgia perceive diversity and exercise their membership in society and actions that will ultimately translate into transforming Georgia’s youth into Georgia’s agents for change.
