Die 1. Internationale Radkappen Ausstellung hat grade auf der Ryck Brücke am Anfang der Stralsunderstr. ihre Pforten geöffnet. Sie zeigt eine Auswahl gesammelter Werke, teilweise mit Farbe und Stencils versehen. Die Öffnungszeiten sind von 24 bis 0 Uhr Täglich. Wie lange die Ausstellung in Greifswald bleiben wird ist noch nicht bekannt.

The Greater Beth-el Temple church family welcomed Elder Calvin J. Gould, Sr. and his wife, First Lady Valerie Gould, as our new pastor and wife. Our Pastoral Installation Service with the theme Serving God’s People: A New Day, A New Beginning, was held on Sunday, June 30, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Our speaker was Bishop Edward C. Price. Elder and First Lady Gould are excited and happy to serve Greater Beth-el Temple and the Omaha metropolitan community.
May the Lord bless them both in moving the church forward through Jesus Christ, our Lord.

Bei dieser Arbeit, die im Rahmen der seit einigen Jahren fortgesetzten Veranstaltungsreihe „Da-Sein in Kunst und Kirche“ bereits dreimal in verschiedenen Kirchengemeinden der Regensburger Diözese realisiert wurde, beziehe ich mich gleichermaßen auf die irdischen wie transzendenten Wege christlicher Glaubenspraxis in ihrer Bindung an ein Kirchengebäude als Ort der Liturgie. Die dafür verwendeten Schuhe, die von den Kirchenmitgliedern gestellt werden, sind letztlich ein (Transport)Medium, ein Vehikel, um zu zeigen, wie etwas Materielles die Grundlage für Spirituelles oder Geistiges wird. Und das wiederum ist nicht nur spezifisch christlich, sondern eine (wahrscheinlich) universale Eigenschaft des Menschen: Dinge erschaffen, die Werte, Botschaften, Symbole und Kultur verkörpern/vergegenständlichen. Paradoxe Eigenschaft von uns Menschen oder nicht, bemerkenswert allemal: Immaterielles zu materialisieren.
„In den Kirchen ruhen unter dem Boden oft die toten Ahnen der Lebenden. Nach christlicher Vorstellung sind jedoch die Lebenden und die Toten nicht getrennt, sondern als Glaubensgemeinschaft für alle Zeit und Ewigkeit miteinander verbunden. Unsere Schuhe sind es vor allem, mit denen wir tagtäglich den Boden berühren, ob leise, festen Schrittes oder gar aufstampfend. Schuhe formen sich – lange genug getragen – nach den Füßen. Raoul Kaufer nimmt getragene Schuhe stellvertretend für ihre Träger. Ihr künstlerischer „Auftritt“ im Kirchenraum macht den Kirchenboden zur Bühne für ein nachdenkliches Stück über die Welt der Lebenden und der Toten.“ (Friedrich Fuchs/Diözesanmuseum Regensburg)
The tiles are hauled up to the platform at the top of three storey scaffolding. They are then laid out on the platform as they will be on the wall. In sets of five vertical lines the cement is applied to the wall and the tiles carefully pressed into place. Once this is completed the grouting between each tile is applied.

This exhibition documents international Indigenous artists’ responses to the impacts of radiation and toxic waste on Native peoples and the environment. The work of the 36 artists and collectives, most of whom identify as Indigenous, is centered around the impact that nuclear testing, uranium mining, and the subsequent contamination have had on the colonized peoples and their ancestral, unceded lands of present-day Australia, Canada, Greenland, the US, Japan, and the Pacific Islands. The exhibition presents an interdisciplinary mixture of forms and genres, including sculpture, video installation, photography, collage, glasswork, metalwork, fiber, paintings, and virtual-reality experiences. The works tell personal stories of illness, struggle, and resilience in the face of corporate willfulness and government complicity.

Installation of the new window dedicated to St Pio of Pietrelcina (better known as Padre Pio) fitted on July 2nd 2020. It is the second of five windows I've been asked to design and make to complete the glazing of the north aisle. It also became my primary occupation whilst spending three months self isolating, so will always be the 'lockdown window' to me!
Our Lady of the Angels is Nuneaton's principal Roman Catholic church, and is a distinctive and solid essay in 20th century brick Gothic. The almost industrial-looking square block of the west tower is a major landmark by one of the main roads leading to the town centre.
The church began life as a chapel built in 1838, but most of the present building dates from a major enlargement and remodelling in 1936.
The interior has recently been beautifully redecorated and contains several stained glass windows by Hardman's, Gilbert Sheedy and me.
These images are to be used as a general guide to installing my microphone system. Accordions vary widely in construction so you will have to modify your installation to fit your instrument.
