No matter how slow the film, Spirit always stands still long enough for the photographer It has chosen.

I am losing my dear Diorama Inspector Mirre. I found out about it two weeks ago. He has been keeping his left ear down like that for a few months, and originally I thought it was just some stiffness that comes with old age. But then the familiar smell of cancer came to his mouth and the swelling to his muzzle. It appeared that he has enough growth on the left side of his upper jaw to cover his teeth. And he started keeping his left eye half closed as well. Mirre got antibiotics, which took away the smell and swelling, and for a few days I thought it could be a treatable gum infection.
But then Mirre yawned, and I managed to take a photo of the inside of his mouth. The growth has spread beyond the gums. I believe it's cancer and it started from the area of his ear and then spread to his mouth.
There's nothing more to be done here, so I'm feeding Mirre with extra wet food now and saying goodbye, and he'll get to the vet's next Tuesday for the final time. Mirre has just turned 16. He's my best friend, and I'm heartbroken. He wasn't even originally my cat, but he adopted me as his main servant years ago, and he has many ways of showing it. He's the sweetest and most talkative, outgoing cat I've ever come across. He has always gotten along with all humans and most cats and dogs too. The neighbors like Mirre because they can have an actual conversation with him - even if he climbs into a bird nest tree on their land. I recently even found out that he's friends with a dog that I have never seen.
I just keep bursting into tears multiple times a day. I know from experience that I will stop crying next week. But then, without the tears, there will be nothing left but emptiness.
Cancer, see this tongue? It's for you.
The Post Office purchased its first bicycles in 1896 after more than a decade of trials with various types of cycle. This is an Inspector's Bicycle from the 20th Century which was custom made for the Post Office.
I went to DSW in search of this particular pair of shoes. It’s a style I’ve been coveting and the online reviews are very good. They are indeed comfortable and not nearly as stumpifying as many flats. I’m so happy to have tracked these down!

In the British police, a chief inspector is senior to an inspector and junior to a superintendent.
Today, the function of chief inspectors varies from force to force. They may assist Basic Command Unit (BCU) commanders, command smaller units, or fill various staff posts. In some forces such as Hampshire Constabulary and Sussex Police, the chief inspector is the senior officer in command of a district (usually consisting of one or more local authority areas). In this respect they have replaced superintendents as the head police officer of the larger towns.

Inspector Rob from the Florida department of agriculture came by Monday to evaluate the health of the honeybee colonies. Pulling and inspecting a few frames of brood from each hive he determined that everything looks good as the colonies continue to gain strength ahead of the spring nectar flow.

Took this photo after dressing up as the cloud based private eye - strange looks all round :-)
Here's my little tribute drawing of the fantastic Mr Jonathan Edwards 'INSPECTOR CUMULUS' - scribbled on paper and coloured in photoshop :-)
01. Who Drew This and Where Can people find you?
My name is [rich] and you can find me at:
and of course
02. What is the name of your drawing?
TIME FOR A MURDER.
03. What is it's story? (no more than 100 words please)
I thought I'd do a little something different for this one - took a couple of photos dressed up as Mr Cumulus drew some details in illustrator and added them up in photoshop :-)
I framed this industrial inspector / worker with these large pipes, conduits and ducts. I enjoy photographing in factories and power plants because I love to see how others work. It's especially fascinating to learn about industry, energy, power, petroleum, and refining; and produce images that are interesting to others.

He does his usual thing: Check every room closely and assess their condition to see if they reach his official standards. This room was okay.
