The cracker inspector is inspecting just how much salt is on these Saltine Crackers anyway. Big bits and little bits of salt everywhere!
The Inspector is HO Scale 1:87 (about 1/2 inch), so whole pic is less than 1 inch wide. I used the Laowa 60mm enlarging lens. Hope you like it.
I decided that I needed to get some new miniatures so I am forced to come up with different scenarios. There are many circumstances in life that we can't control but with photography, we can choose what and how to frame it in our lens. At this time, I need the distraction from reality.

Not quite as catchy as Inspector Gadget, but you have to work in the Yellow-bellied Sapsucker some how!
I asked Hadley what this little thing is called, and he just responded a gadget. He did show me how it worked to hold something with the magnifying lens on it, but still it is just a gadget. The background of Inspector Gadget made me laugh. Anyone ever see the series or films?
ODC: gadget
The farm sheep will soon be giving birth, so we've built a new shelter. This was the first time I saw a White-faced Heron visiting such high elevated pastures. Obviously there was this job to be done.

In order to keep their approach low key, Queensland Government Fishing Inspectors have been adopting new guises so they won't give their approach away. All the better to catch people who take undersized or too many fish or other seafood. The downside of the new uniforms is that they are very tight......this fisherman is about to display his catch for a rigorous inspection! Pine River, Tinchi Tamba, Brisbane.
The Inspectors get to eat all offending fish.
(In real life, the fisherman is net fishing for bait fish).
In one of the leaded glass sidelight panes of the main entrance to an old storefront in Galena, Illinois – A vintage sign for an official watch inspector for the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad – also known as the “Burlington Route” – is still displayed.
