part of a circuit board, the chip on the copper colored flex circuit is for the touch controller of a display module (touch controllers respond and report where you touch the screen). Image width is about 1.5 inches. For Macro Mondays theme “Inside Electronics”
Fortunately I recently replaced my land line phone and still had the old one. Had a lot of fun playing with this project.

I found an electronic board that was discarded at my office. I placed it on an acrylic plate and applied bright backlit. I saw it through the macro lense, the bottom of the board was reflected and it looked like a mirage! Macro shooting is really fun!!
As you know, the board is very small, and the size of this was 4cm actually.

This is a side view of a DIMM ie. PC Memory Module. I was trying to get a bit abstract but also attempting to demonstrate how, even a PCB used to construct a DIMM, actually utilises about 6 layers sandwiched together. Anyway, enough of the geeky stuff and back to the dishes :-)
