We've all received one. Yes, those loveable (or annoying) greeting cards that sing to you. My most recent card wished me a happy birthday to the tune of La Cucaracha. An indescribable treat!

What you are seeing is the magic behind the greeting: the circuit board with batteries and the speaker, all of which is packed neatly into your greeting card.

Those of you with circuitry knowledge will no doubt notice that one of the speaker wires is disconnected and tucked behind the board. That was for two reasons: First, while out of the card, the thing would not shut up! Second, there is a defect in the electronics and the things would cut off and on. Try focusing while that is blaring at you.

I promise you will never receive one of these from me!
