This was in the Dubai Mall. There were thousands of these on the ceiling. It was stunning. This is the largest mall in area in the world. There is a skating rink, a wonderful spot-TWG where we had afternoon tea. These malls have much more to offer than just shopping. I guess in the summer these places are a refuge.

If you're out looking for it the temples offer great little pieces of art, vastly neglected due to their being masked in the shadow of the temple itself or the larger statues in the area. It is the detailed work that lies in the neglected temple corners that make these places so magical in the first place.
Purple cabbage
This is my second attempt to Macro Mondays week theme which is "Pattern in Nature".
I realized that this pattern is not so obvious and have a lot of variations, but it looks so rich in color and textures and sometimes reminds a painting.
