To get this result the following is required.
As us unusual girls in this world know, there is nothing more rewarding than the transformation. The journey we make from M to F is in my book one of the most exhilarating moments in life.
My run down starts like this.
Shower,
Shave (as required)
Dry and moisturise the body.
Apply make up. Except lips and lashes.
Paint nails.
Choose cloths.
Tape here and there if you want to........
Tuck away (we have to do it!)
Put on under wear,
Next it's Tights or stockings.
1 off Corset, (nice and tight)
Stop and take several deep breaths due to above!
Admire new fem shape.
More deep breaths and reflect on the transition!
Develop your breast shape.
Drink wine as required.
Dress in chosen outfit(s)
Pick a suitable hair style.
Earrings, bracelets, jewellery.
Slowly put on each high heel shoe.
Stand and admire the female shape and stance!!! (oh yes)
Finish lips, lashes and any minor defects.
Drink more wine.
Take a few pictures.
And the rest is up to you.
Really enjoyed making this! Used Heat and Bond for the circles and then machine appliqued using a blanket stitch and invisible thread. The fun was in picking through my five inch and three and a half inch squares to get the value progression. That is a lot of Heat and Bond, but, the good thing is .....one could nap in the rain while covered with this!

I am SO busy today, Flickr. Laundry room photoshoot, that is how busy I am. I dunno. But, I like the feel of laundry rooms. They're so dimly lit and I really like how they smell ;p

Taken a while back and just recently found, this shot was taken inside a very large (40-50 feet tall) Christmas tree made of strands of white lights at night. Located outside of the Opryland Hotel, Nashville TN, in December 2012.
Many were standing around photographing the lights. I looked around and found no ropes, fences or signage so I stepped between the strands, placed my camera against the support pole and with my Tamron 18-270 lens, took this shot. By the time I left there were 8-10 folks inside the tree taking photos.
Sometimes it just takes one to get the dancing started!

Today's photo is one of the lead singers from the group. The Suffragettes which is a new cover band that performs in Southern California. This was taken at Downtown Disney which is not inside the park so anyone can enjoy them without having to purchase theme park admission..
I have no idea what Knox is doing, from the looks of it just having a girly night in :P

ps. I don't have nearly enough pictures of Knox's profile, as far as I'm concerned she has the perfect profile. I could take a thousand pictures of just that and still not have enough XD

You know your spouse *understands* your passion for photography when...
...he/she actually gets excited about finding you something that might be fun to photograph. My hubby was eating these blackberries, then suddenly he got excited: "Hey honey! Photograph these!" So, here they are!
The X100 is fairly light and lends itself for carrying by wrist strap very well.
This is my friend's X100 - on mine I have now standardized on the Leica basic strap which I find the most practial and durable solution.

You know, I suddenly am realizing that Flickr just takes an arbitrarily centered thumbnail from all my diptyched images. Which frequently means that the diptych in question gets pretty poorly represented in the thumbnail department. Wouldn't it be really cool if we could be selective about the portion of an image that gets to be the thumbnail? Hmmm. Perhaps I just need to ease off the dips for a while.
Still on the inside, the shifting shifts, the passing passes and the drops drop...

You guys know me a little, right? You do. You know that when given the choice between a blurry photo and a properly focused one, I'll go with the blur. Maybe it's because I'm shortsighted, and for so long I refused to wear glasses, so I got used to the blur. It could be because I find it deeper, more poetic. But it's true. I like it better. So, in the comments, you'll see the properly focused outtake, as well as a bunch others I could have posted as main, but I still liked this more.
I spent my afternoon rehearsing at one of the largest venues in Portugal: Casa da Música. It's a huge place, and my music school has a Carnaval show coming up next week, so that's where I spent my time, leaving me with nothing more than five minutes inside my bathroom to take my pic du jour. This is what came out of it.
Also during my rehearsal, a friend whispered to me that I needed to start being myself, to stop hiding, to stop letting other people take over. That I should stop hiding who I am behind my camera.
I wish I could. I honestly, truly wish I could. But in the world I live in? Yeah. That's not happening any time soon.
