In my other artwork I experiment with different ways of represtenting and showing smoke, I've explored doing it with flowers/magazine cut-outs/material. This time I did it on photoshop using splats of ink which I 'layer via copy' into my frame and build them up, adjusting their sizing and opaqucity.
In a group we invented a drawing machine out of a bamboo cane, wool and tape.
We wanted to manipulate a seemingly soft material (wool) to create a hard and sharp result.
