One of 6 species to be found in the UK and sometimes known as the Assassin fly. They can be found in scrubby grasslands and woodland edges. These flies are aerial or ambush hunters with excellent eyesight and will stab their prey and inject a protein dissolving saliva in which to kill and help digest their prey.
What's even real? It's not even about flesh or plastic anymore. Might as well tear it all away.

The Banded Demoiselle lives along the edges of slow flowing rivers, still ponds, lakes and canals also among damp vegetation, the male Banded Demoiselles are very territorial and they perform fluttering display flights to attract females. You can see them from May to August each year, they are clever because they catch small insects when they are flying by grabbing them with their feet, also they are tremendous consumers of mosquitoes. The male Banded Demoiselle are metallic blue with dark blue patches on each wing and the females are metallic green with pale greenish wings. The female Banded Demoiselle lays her eggs which can be up to 10 eggs per minute for 45 minutes at a time by injecting them into the stems of plants which are under the surface of the water, the eggs hatch in about two weeks and the larvae take two years to develop and they over winter in the mud at the bottom of the water, they are very sensitive to pollution therefore they are a good indicator of clean water.

8x10 darkroom print

Also I'm really happy how the solarization turned out, it's a pretty hard darkroom technique.
Aftermath is a photography series I created during the pandemic, using a range of experimental techniques to explore the human condition in times of crisis. By employing methods such as film soup, developing color film with black-and-white chemistry, and innovative and alternative darkroom printing, I aimed to reflect the uncertainties and disruptions of the era. All-in-all, this past week has been a bit rubbish, heartbreakingly traumatic funeral, follow-up hospital visit after surgery on my foot (thanks, chemo) and a healthy dose of poison via canula. I am grateful that this weird drug has been invented and that I'm able to have it, so many in the United Kingdom are denied this treatment because they're caught up in the post code lottery, but it's still tough having it. I am achy in my bones and really longing for a chilled glass of wine, but we don't have any in the house so it'll be a long longing...

Plus de monde que la première fois, mais ambiance difficile. Quand plusieurs évoquent des effets secondaires importants, les soignants présents minimisent, protestent. Et en même temps, les pompiers distribuent des papiers pour une enquête justement sur les effets secondaires notoires du vaccin.
Paradoxe.
Certains citoyens, les plus âgés, viennent déjà pour une troisième dose, presque résignés. Quelques uns évoquent des souvenirs de morts infantiles familiales pour se rassurer, parlent de guerre...
Pour moi, c'est surréaliste.
Je ne sais pas où nous allons, mais je ne peux que constater la violence, l'arbitraire qui accompagnent le vocabulaire en lien avec l'obligation vaccinale actuelle.

Edit: Posts from people who come here and post support requests with vague texts get deleted. If the camera doesn't work, that's too bad. If it has bugs, open a github issue and clearly describe the bug. I create these cameras for fun for myself and share them online so others can use them too. Within reasonable boundaries I try to update cameras if they contain a bug or if the game gets patched quickly after I released a camera.
However I won't fix cameras a long time after it's been released, nor do I help with your struggles with an injector on windows 10, as I don't use windows 10. I'll try to include an injector which works next time but that's about it.

I injected some flowers with Agave Nectar to give this Honeybee a reason to let me get close. Even though this shot is cropped I kept the aspect ratio the same as the un-cropped image (2:3) and Photoshop Elements 2022 up-sampled it, so it is still a 32MP photo.
Tech Specs: Canon 90D (F11, 1/125, ISO 200) + a Canon MP-E 65mm macro lens (set to about 1.5x) + a diffused MT-26EX-RT, E-TTL metering, -2/3 FEC. This is a single, cropped, frame taken hand held. In post I used Topaz Denoise AI and Clarity in that order. Shutter and ISO set to expose the sky in the background.

Last time I was at the temple and

some open lesions and sores on his
back. Maybe 7 inches long 1 inch wide.
I injected Boney once we returned home.
Early tomorrow morning I'll be heading in
an easterly direction before mornings light.
2 wheeled bike will be loaded to the hilt.
And no, so far I have not purchased
new tires but they are full of air.
Tread is still no better ! .......;-(

British Railways Standard 2 2-6-0s 78018 & 78019 on shed at Loughborough. Phil and myself - with help from cleaner Mitchell - had just disposed 78018 after a one-tripper to Leicester and I was heading for my car. Note the two long-chimneyed braziers alongside 18 the heat from which should ensure the injectors & tender don't freeze overnight.
