Infinity – never-ending; endless ….. - inspiration for this necklace.
Woven out of high quality Japan seed beads in graduating sizes, each infinity element is linked by an embellished peyote woven strip. To add interest to the element, a bezelled and embellished Swarovski crystal blossoms from the centre.
Suspended in the middle is a centrepiece of bezelled Swarovski crystal. Deliberately left unembellished as contrast against the embellished elements.
The necklace is secured with a double toggle clasp to provide symmetry to the whole.
Infinity has also been juried for inclusion in Lark Book's Showcase 500 Beaded Jewelry.
Week 2 of my 52 week project! This week I wanted to explore relationships again, but a more emotion way. I asked my boyfriend to wear his infinity bracelet I bought him and I also wore mine. I wanted to express longevity and love without being too obviousabout it!

It crashed as the universe fell into itself
Shiptember was one of the initial drives to start the Infinity project. Clearly went past the 30 day build time, taking 3 years to get around to finishing it... but there's next year!
Unlike the rest of the Infinity (if not Stylus) family, this camera has a Zuiko lens. It bridges the Zuiko lens of the XA series, while seeking out the full AF AE features of the Infinity Stylus models.
Also known as the AF-1 and Nurepika.
Arty has the basic specs.
I had to open up the camera to clean the uv filter. The weather proofing gasket made it difficult to take out the screws. I didn't not bother to put the gasket back in. Technically, no longer a wet flash. But I think it will do better and not develop any more fungus on the filter. Just like a leaky condo, sometimes it's better to let a camera breathe.
Note: the camera lacks a NO FLASH option. Learn to love the flash. With a slowest shutter speed of 1/30 (max is 1/700) this camera most likely emphasizes sharpness.
Another thing, the focus lock is very odd. Press the focus lock. Hold it down. Then hold down the shutter. It won't fire. Then recompose. Then RELEASE the focus lock! It shoots.
If you want to disengage without firing, simply take your finger off the shutter release. The best way to hold it is with your left hand index finger on the focus lock. This means you will have three fingers on the front side. I tried to do it with my left thumb but it was awkward. See pics below.
Holding it like this prevents the index finger creeping over the flash.

A self portrait taken in Da Vinci's "Mirrors Room": a room with eight flat mirrors as walls. As a result the first mirror reflects you at real size, the second mirror reflects the image from the first mirror and is smaller. This goes on until infinity ;-)
I took this picture at the Da Vinci - The Genius exposition in Rotterdam. For more information, go to this website. Not only does Da Vinci fascinate me, I also wanted to visit the exhibition because it takes place in the beautiful former post office in the city centre of Rotterdam.
This Infinity Q45 (Nissan President) is a import from the US, left hand drive and MPH speedo, however the roof and the front have been tastelessly modified ruining the whole car. The spray paint is shoddy, however the interior have thankfully been left alone. Very sad, and Criminal offence
....the Celebrity Infinity Cruise Ship was in Victoria, BC, Sunday!
Seen just before it left the dock at the Breakwater in James Bay.
so many cruise ships stop in Victoria, for a short tour and/or shopping trip around the city by carriage or pedicap or double decker bus....
the anchor was being lifted and it reversed and headed out to sea as we watched....heading to Alaska or back to LA?!?!?
happy Rosh Hashanah to my friends.....who celebrate
