“The slow collapse of the social contract is the backdrop for a modern mania for clean eating, healthy living, personal productivity, and ‘radical self-love’—the insistence that, in spite of all evidence to the contrary, we can achieve a meaningful existence by maintaining a positive outlook, following our bliss, and doing a few hamstring stretches as the planet burns.” ―Laurie Penny
Have had several Infinity pools installed on jobs I have overlooked. Seen the way they are built. Seen the finish project in daylight as the pool overlooks the lake. It really seems like the lake is a continuation of the pool looking from the stairs entering across to the outer wall.
But I, until last week, had never experienced from within, and especially at night.
It is absolutely surreal. It's uncanny how the senses are so easily fooled making you believe something you know isn't possible.
I just sat in at the end of the night starring into the lake. In total bliss. Nobody bothering me. And I would wake in morning . Do my yoga, and do it before I left. The pool was supposed to be closed. But the staff let me anyways. If I ever become a multi-millionaire. With money to burn. I definitely would have one of these babies.....

430X into 60cm Ezyfold softbox camera left about level with head angled down.
SB28 Bare camera right (giving the shadow) coming in from the same direction as the sun which was behind some trees but gives the left hand highlight on the statue.
SB28 Magenta Gelled and gridded camera left aimed at he left hand sid of the statue to give the highlight. Whitebalance and photoshop trickery used to colour the statue completely. Using a Magenta (or any pure colour that doesn't appear elsewhere in the frame) gel gives you kind of a chromakey capability in post.
