Sometimes there are big waves that sweep through these cement pillars. I've seen a couple of people get pretty wet not realizing that the waves that crash here are very powerful. As I took this shot my mind was hoping that the wave was not going to drag me or my camera out to sea.

OH MY GOD, WE FINALLY GOT PIZZA DELIVERY!!!!!!!! And it’s freaking delicious! Marco’s Pizza. HUGE fan. I swear, the things you take for granted living in a big city. Being way out in the boonies means no Favor, no DoorDash, and no food delivery. Wah. Right after lockdown lifted in the early summer of 2020, we got a Marco’s Pizza nearby and heard they might actually deliver to our subdivision. We couldn’t believe it when it worked and we’ve been ordering once a week to guarantee that they will always deliver here forever. It’s so good. My fave is the thin crust with extra sauce, the parmesan crust, and light cheese. OMG.
This week of indulgence is showing me that I still have a very sweet tooth!! I think perhaps growing up without fizzy drinks in the house has somehow made a can of coke a treat. Still, could be worse things to indulge on.

My closet of treasures back in the day of working as a textile artist for one of the most reputable Textile Conveyers here in California stowed some vintage authentic Hawaiian Barkcloth that couldn't be more perfect for the occasion! You shall see very soon that these headbands will be a fun way to live up those Happy Hawaiian days and to pull back those untamed beach bum hairs with a bit of glamour!

Sometimes I indulge my long lost dreams, perhaps fantasies maybe more accurate, and though it's all delusional it's rewarding and fun. I'm sure my dreams cause embarrassment, I've certainly received e-mails from people saying my narratives make them cringe but I do regret I never acted on them when I was younger.
This picture is a case in point. I always wanted loved the idea of being an actress, a model and to pose for a magazine photo-shoot and really indulge in some glossy studio glamour with all the hair, make-up, dresses and general girlishness of it all because as a transvestite it holds the promise of great adventure, excitement, daring and a big departure from my usual male life.
Of course none of this was ever going to happen and so I decided to go in for a self indulgent experience and pose for a fictitious magazine and I would be the woman on the cover. What I enjoyed was the commitment and sheer physical preparation and getting into character required to actually pose for this picture. I acknowledge the result is not that convincing and lacks the quality of a glossy magazine but I can say it was tremendous fun and I loved...absolutely loved doing the whole thing.
I had my entire body waxed the day before the photo and had my eyebrows thinned and shaped whilst in the salon, I loved the fact I had really crossed the line on my usual male appearance. I left the salon felling very sore from three and half hours of waxing but excited beyond description.
The next day I spent hours getting a lot of make-up on my face to create a smoother softer skin look. I wore quite a lot of eye-liner, mascara and false eyelashes ad creamy light pink lipstick with lots of gloss applied. I then tucked away my male genitals attached my false breasts, slipped on lovely feminine lingerie and wore a short striped dress and yellow platform sling-back high heels. I wanted to look a bit contemporary and edgy so chose one of my shorter wigs which was then back-combed out to add a bit of (hoped for) funkiness and then I it was time to paint my nails and dab on perfume. It felt utterly amazing!
The make-up was all for the camera as I was keen on the glamorous soft studio look, it was far too heavy for real world appearances but the studio style requires very heavy make-up and i was more than willing to wear it and enjoyed it immensely, I am after all a transvestite.
So this is the result, a pure self indulgent fantasy, a man in lots of make-up, body hair removed wearing a dress and heels and pretending I was an actress and former model posing for a magazine cover...I warned you it may cause some cringing.
My aim is to express that no matter how bad one looks, such as I do in this hammed up attempt to be a glamorous woman, if you enjoy the thrill and excitement of daring to go through with the dream you will feel euphoric and have had a lot of fun. I urge you to go for it if you have the dream and enjoy being a girl. If you have such desires indulge them it's a delightful experience.
With Christmas markets everywhere in Berlin, it is hard to avoid these delicious treats - like the white nougat from Montélimar with hazelnuts or pistachios...
