On the first day of the consultation presentations, panel and group discussions were held. The participants learnt from good practices on preparing relevant specifications and mobilizing producers, control and certification, and consumer awareness. The panel discussions with Q&A session centred around the current situation and future challenges.
On the second day the participants went for a GI study visit to Szentes and Szeged.

Indications are that the efforts to make our coast into a National Marine Sanctuary are alive and well as an outside broker continues working to bring it about with the support of a select few community members (relative newcomers to the community best described as carpetbaggers) who expect to somehow profit from the venture at the expense of the fishermen who are mostly long-time residents of Port Orford who contribute much to our local economy.

When positioning the acute it has to be considered that it rather lengthens the e (as well as the other vocals) into a positive sound. The accent grave can be considered to do the opposite. (Optically) centering or the acute/therefore is wrong.

A common indication for manipulating a landscape - balancing background exposure with foreground and simulating a polarizing filter to make the sky look good. The familiar technique of compositing two exposures from the one DNG with luminance-based masking has been used to reasonably good effect. Note how the highlights in the buildings have also been tinted slightly blue to match the sky's increased colour intensity.

An Indication of Why There are so Many "Fat Burdz" in Scotland - television and newspapers have recently been stressing the rise in obesity in Scotland - due to poor diet (such as the infamous deep fried mars bars) , chip butties ; crisps and fizzy pop - I think this image shows just how far reaching the problem is in Scotland
This is the rough side, on edge, of about one half of this nice combination fortification and plume agate from the Falcon Lake area of Zapata County, Texas. You can see a broken edge which has revealed a druze and a slight indication of fortification bands, but very little indication of the quality or color inside. The patina has even covered the broken edge of the exposed part and it takes thousands of years for that to form on the surface of the agate. The patina often makes it very difficult to spot a good agate. I will get down on my hands and knees, when I am in a productive area. It helps to have a wide-brim hat to cut down on the sun's light reflecting back into my face as I try to spot a good agate among the thousands laying around it.

On 20 December FAO and oriGIn hosted the Third Regional Consultation on Geographical Indication in Europe and Central Asia.
The virtual meeting was organized in the context of an FAO project aimed at supporting the development of Geographical Indications (GIs) in Russia, Republic of Moldova, Georgia and, selected Central Asian countries (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan) by comparing the situation of those countries with the one of selected EU Member States, namely France, Poland, Hungary and Croatia.

Simonshaven: Event Photography
The estate specializes in winemaking. Its first vines were planted in 1978. More than 400 different grape varieties are cultivated there, and there's an on-site winery. Visitors can book tours and wine tastings. De Vier Ambachten Estate is one of the oldest vineyards in the Netherlands, where vines were planted in 1978 and the first wine was made in 1981.

A memorial to the bandsmen of the Titanic (1913). An indication not only of the enormous impact the sinking of the Titanic had on the general public, but also a statement about the importance of music in general, and brass banding in particular, in Ballarat. The SS Titanic Memorial Bandstand is an excellent and unusual example of creative bandstand design of the Edwardian period, a picturesque composition with dominant roofs of oriental character, it is an exotic and important element of the streetscape of Sturt Street.
Constructed in 1915, it is one of the few remaining examples of what was once a building type found commonly in the parks and gardens of many municipalities. It serves as a tangible reminder of a highly popular form of entertainment, prominent on the community agenda for many years. The construction of the bandstand and its survival until now also reflects the place of music in Ballarat's cultural identity and the continuing prominence of music in the community.
It is a memorial to the sinking of the Titanic, a disaster still recalled today, and to her heroic musicians who played as they went down with their ship.
The bandstand and its construction is indicative of Ballarat's self image and patriotic fervour. (Wikipedia)

But what was the purpose of the pots? As we explored the space we saw that some of the chains were attached to a structure containing vertical pipes which resembled a small organ.
We noticed abandoned lockers, urinals, broken commodes, some clothes left behind, rusty lockers, and more. It was as if the closing whistle blew and the shift closed down never to return again.
We later learned that the pots were for storing valuables. The hooks were for jackets and street clothes. The chains hoisted the pots to the ceiling. The other end of the chain was attached to the organ like structures and then padlocked thus protecting valuables from temptation.
