Multiple indications that this thing really flows in the spring runoff- big sandbars and boulders all over, plus a lot of full-size trees washed out by the roots lying sideways six feet above current water level. It's very cold, since it's snowmelt from further up the mountain. Sherwood and Nottingham Campgrounds are fine, but the entire Robin Hood Campground disappeared in a flood a few years ago. The river just took it downstream. In addition to the spring runoff, they also have flash floods from fall thunderstorms.
Little indication of COVID-19 social distancing at Highfield during the Tommy Wilson Trophy T20 final between hosts Fulwood & Broughton and Northern Premier League rivals Netherfield.
Netherfield pipped Fulwood & Broughton in a low-scoring thriller that went to the last ball. Needing one to tie and two to win, with one wicket remaining, the hosts completed a single but suffered a runout going for the second. Having lost fewer wickets, Netherfield were able to celebrate. Some felt ‘super overs’ should have been used to determine the winner.
A difficult wicket and a damp outfield ensured both teams had trouble putting runs on the board - despite Highfield being a relatively small ground. With bowlers in command, each team managed only one six. Fours were in short supply, too. The Kendal-based visitors were 50-3 after 10 overs then 66-4 after 15.
At tea, few would have put money on a Netherfield win. However, Fulwood & Broughton lost two wickets, before scoring a run, in the first over. Game on! The hosts were 49-3 after 10 overs then 67-5 after 15. Twenty-five was needed from the last 18 balls then 13 off the final over. A valiant effort, late in the game, gave Fulwood & Broughton a sniff of the cup but they fell agonisingly short.

Netherfield won because they lost fewer wickets. Umpires: Adrian Darlington and Hillal Namajee.

No indication from the album as to where this location might be anyone care to guess!
Album bought from a carboot sale for £3 in Suffolk. The photos have been stuck into the album so I wouldn't normally have bought it .As it turns out this album is full of surprises the main one being the photos of David Lloyd George Prime Minister at Harlech Wales in 1922
The only indications of the fire, which underlies some 400 acres (1.6 km²), spreading along four fronts, are low round metal steam vents in the south of the borough, and several signs warning of underground fire, unstable ground, and carbon monoxide. Additional smoke and steam can be seen coming from an abandoned portion of Pennsylvania Route 61, the area just behind the hilltop cemetery, and other cracks in the ground scattered about the area.

The Postcard
A Medal Series postcard that was published by H. Cross. The card has a divided back.
There are no indications as to the identity of the man.
The card was posted in Hastings on Wednesday the 1st. May 1907 to:
Miss King,
Wootton Lodge,
Enys Road,
Eastbourne.
The message was obviously the second of a series of at least three:
"2.
...straight up to the water.
I wonder if you are going
anywhere, if so drop me a
line by the first post in the
morning and I will come
and meet you.
I did not know what to do
today so went to see Edie
and we went for a long
walk to..."
Marcel Bezençon
So what else happened on the day that the card was posted?
Well, the 1st. May 1907 marked the birth in Orbe, Switzerland of Marcel Bezençon.
Marcel Bezençon was a Swiss journalist, media executive and the director of the European Broadcasting Union between 1954 and 1970.
In 1955, he conceived the idea of the Eurovision Song Contest, based on the famous Sanremo Music Festival.
Bezençon graduated with a degree in art history from the University of Lausanne in 1932, and then started work as a freelance art and theatre critic before becoming editor of the newspaper Feuille d'Avis.
In 1939, he joined Radio Suisse Romande (RSR), where he served as its director until 1950 when he became Director-General of the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation (SRG SSR), which he served until 1972.
Bezençon also sat as a member of the board of directors of the Swiss Telegraphic Agency (SDA ATS) between 1963 and 1972.
The Death and Legacy of Marcel Bezençon
Marcel died on the 17th. February 1981 at the age of 73 in Lausanne, Switzerland.
In 2002, the Marcel Bezençon Awards were founded by Christer Björkman (Melodifestivalen winner and Swedish ESC participant in 1992) and Richard Herrey (Melodifestivalen and Swedish ESC winner in 1984 as part of the Herreys).

Most of the buildings at the site were unidentified; no indication of why they were built. We came across an interesting structure. The interior was first a fantasyland with metal pots with hooks hanging from chains attached to the ceilings. The only light streamed through broken windows. It was a locker room of some sort. But what was the purpose of the pots? As we explored the space we saw that some of the chains were attached to a structure containing vertical pipes which resembled a small organ.
We noticed abandoned lockers, urinals, broken commodes, some clothes left behind, rusty lockers, and more. It was as if the closing whistle blew and the shift closed down never to return again.
We later learned that the pots were for storing valuables. The hooks were for jackets and street clothes. The chains hoisted the pots to the ceiling. The other end of the chain was attached to the organ like structures and then padlocked thus protecting valuables from temptation.

There are indications that the upcoming winter will be earmarked as an El Niño winter. However, there is more to a snowfall forecast for a winter season than just the presence of an El Niño or La Niña.
The strength of an El Niño or La Niña, along with the interplay of other oscillations must also be considered.

There are three principle indications of Aging skin and every one impacts facial skin in an alternate manner:
Wrinkles
The principal perceptible indications of skin maturing are scarcely discernible differences and wrinkles. Little, shallow wrinkles known as giggling lines or crow's feet will in general get observable at the external corners of the eyes. These may show up around the age of 30, yet we as a whole age distinctively and how we age relies upon our hereditary qualities and lifestyle
Loss of volume
It very well may be hard to distinguish a deficiency of volume and facial shapes. The primary indications of a deficiency of volume in the lips will in general be when lipstick begins to drain. A deficiency of facial volume will in general bring about drooping skin, a smoothing of the cheeks and the presence of a "turkey neck".
Loss of versatility and profound wrinkles
As our skin develops its design debilitates and it loses flexibility and immovability. Skin likewise gets drier, shows up more 'crepey' and loses the brilliance we partner with young skin.

The only indication after you turn off the main road that this is the entrance to Old Fort Parker historicial site (not the State Park, a few miles away). It is down a long, narrow and winding road...I almost turned back, thinking I had turned onto someone's private property.

After 25 years - her "long and winding road" - she was re-captured and sent to live with her family, where she died heartbroken, having never re-integrated into a society to which she had become a stranger.
The Long And Winding Road
(Lennon/McCartney)
The long and winding road that leads to your door
Will never disappear
I've seen that road before it always leads me here
Leads me to your door
The wild and windy night that the rain washed away
Has left a pool of tears crying for the day
Why leave me standing here, let me know the way
Many times I've been alone and many times I've cried
Anyway you'll never know the many ways I've tried
And still they lead me back to the long and winding road
You left me standing here a long, long time ago
Don't leave me waiting here, lead me to you door
But still they lead me back to the long and winding road
You left me standing here a long, long time ago
Don't keep me waiting here (Don't keep me wait), lead me to you door
-- The Beatles
If a recent exchange of comments is an indication the chilly relationship between President Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu doesn’t appear to be thawing.
Responding to Obama’s comments that “Israel doesn’t know what its own best interests are,” Netanyahu fired back Thursday saying, “I think everyone understands that only Israel’s citizens are those who will be the ones to determine who faithfully represents Israel’s vital interests.” The remarks represented Netanyahu’s first direct response to Obama’s criticism over Israel’s plans to undertake new settlement construction in Gaza.
While not directly referring to the American president, Netanyahu added that over the past four years he’s had to deal with “enormous pressure,” including demands to withdraw to the pre-1967 borders, divide Jerusalem, stop building in the eastern part of Jerusalem and curb its pressure on Iran. “We fended off all those pressures, and I will continue to stand firm on Israel’s vital interests for the security of the citizens of Israel,” he declared, while visiting the Gaza border.
The day after Obama’s criticism was reported by a Bloomberg News columnist, the Housing and Construction Ministry issued proposals for approximately 200 new housing units in the West Bank. In his Bloomberg column, writer Jeff Goldberg wrote [that] “with each new settlement announcement, in Obama’s view, Netanyahu is moving his country down a path toward near isolation.”
It takes quite a bit of audacity for a world leader to criticize a fellow head of state over the latter’s policies, yet that is what Israel has witnessed from President Obama over the past four years. He has leveled more harsh words toward our strongest ally in the Middle East than he has for despotic regimes such as Iran and Syria. As Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu continues to work for what he believes is in the best interests of his nation, pray that the hearts and minds of America’s leaders in Washington will be turned back toward Israel (Proverbs 21:1) and that the U.S. will again be a strong supporter and ally toward the only true democracy in the Middle East.

Very little clear indication that the synagogue once stood here (until 1938) but the final destination of the Jewish citizens of Freiburg is very clearly marked. In the background is one of the university buildings. (One of the most beautiful universities I known of.) In the foreground is the memorial plaque to those who were deported and in the distance in front of the university is the memorial to the murdered Jews. Hardly visible.
Two years ago there were plans to redovelop this site. Finally the last remnant of the synagogue - the low retaining wall - will go. But I'm not sure if the plans will materialise.

THIS IS THE FIRST INDICATION THAT A PIEDMONT EXPOSITION WAS HELD IN 1891.
Collection of Cornerstone Books and Antiques, Canton, GA
In the book The positive image: women photographers in turn of the century America By C. Jane Gover
it is said: "In 1890 Mrs. L. Condon, of Atlanta, Ga, an experienced professional photographer, opened a studio. In this workplace, lavisly decorated with Turkish rugs, silk drapes, upholstered chairs, pottery, and works of art, Mrs. Condon specialized in photographing children, brides, and society women." There is a famous profile photo of suffragatte Susan B. Anthony taken in Atlanta in 1895 by Mrs. Linnie Condon.
In Rootsweb.com it is said "Live in Louisville, Kentucky, and later in Atlanta. Work is associated with
the 1895 Cotton States Exposition in Atlanta."
In the Louisville, Kentucky Directory for 1889 and 1890 she is listed as a photographer at 611 and 613 W. Market St. In 1888 she is listed as Linnie Condon and in 1889 as Mrs. L. Condon. In 1890 she is listed as Mrs. L. Condon, evidently having been married that year. She later moved to Atlanta in 1890 with her new husband.
In the 1888 directory her first name is spelled as Lilnie and in the 1890 as Linnie.
