If Earned Media is any indication of of where we stand in the fight for
climate and environmental justice and a sustainable future against coal
exports, than the tide has turned in favor of activists and the
communities we strive to protect. The coal export battle is truly being
fought in the court of public opinion. Giant-sized sympathetic visuals
conveying the values we stand for and what threatens them, and an
engaging experience that helped communities feel a sense of shared power
were all prominent in the earned mainstream media coverage in Spokane
that included two television spots and the front page on their local
paper. The iconic imagery resonates so well that those in a position to
decide the regulations and even the coal export proponents were enamored
with it, excited, and joyful as they took pictures of and with it. We're
grateful to our supporters through whose support we're able to make sure
this critical flank of the fight is present to amplify, inspire, and
build engagement. If you are long to be a part of vibrant community

The 'Start@Europe' seminar, jointly organised with the Ecole Nationale d'Administration (ENA) and supported by the city of Strasbourg and the ESCP Europe foundation, is yet another indication of the School's commitment to Europe.

Album bought from a carboot sale for £3 in Suffolk. The photos have been stuck into the album so I wouldn't normally have bought it .As it turns out this album is full of surprises the main one being the photos of David Lloyd George Prime Minister at Harlech Wales in 1922
The CF-values are an indication of the 'visibility' in a quadralectic environment, derived in a shift between four-divisions. Kurt Friedrich Gödel (April 28, 1906 – January 14, 1978) was an Austrian, and later American, logician, mathematician, and philosopher. Considered along with Aristotle, Alfred Tarski and Gottlob Frege to be one of the most significant logicians in history, Gödel made an immense impact upon scientific and philosophical thinking in the 20th century, a time when others such as Bertrand Russell, A. N. Whitehead, and David Hilbert were analyzing the use of logic and set theory to understand the foundations of mathematics pioneered by Georg Cantor.
Gödel published his two incompleteness theorems in 1931 when he was 25 years old, one year after finishing his doctorate at the University of Vienna. The first incompleteness theorem states that for any self-consistent recursive axiomatic system powerful enough to describe the arithmetic of the natural numbers (for example Peano arithmetic), there are true propositions about the naturals that cannot be proved from the axioms. To prove this theorem, Gödel developed a technique now known as Gödel numbering, which codes formal expressions as natural numbers.
He also showed that neither the axiom of choice nor the continuum hypothesis can be disproved from the accepted axioms of set theory, assuming these axioms are consistent. The former result opened the door for mathematicians to assume the axiom of choice in their proofs. He also made important contributions to proof theory by clarifying the connections between classical logic, intuitionistic logic, and modal logic (Wikipedia).
Villa Bahia in Bahia de Los Angeles is not the most elegant place, but they obviously know motorcycle travelers: when I asked where to park the bikes, the guy immediately pointed to the enclosed patio. The good parts: It was right on the water, and we had a clean, nice room overlooking the water. Downsides: our door didn't lock, they said they had food but then announced they had only one meal, they said they had lots of different kinds of beer but had only Tecate and Coors, they said they had red wine but then realized they didn't... not sure if they are always like that. We were the only ones at the hotel because they had cancellations of all guests that week from the USA and Canada because of Covid19. That was our first indication that travel in Mexico was being affected by the virus.

There was no indication that a submarine was in the area when three torpedoes breached Crandall Spit severing it into two pieces. Turns out, Sneaky Simon mounted two boats to the top of his sub which gave an appearance of just two boats sailing along in the bay. After the attack, Simon submerged the sub, released the two boats and returned to his home for a beer. He could scratch another one off his "sneaky things to do" bucket list.
