Taken at the. Sussex prairie. garden.

Inbetween me driving from my house, to a nature reserve 15 minutes away, the sky turned from beautifully cloudy to black and pouring with rain.

English summer at its finest!

Tonight, I asked myself why I had stopped reading, why I had lost interest in books. Something that was once my lifeblood no longer gave me the solace it once did. I realized why, when watching a YouTube Video on an independently owned bookstore 'Trails End

Bookstores'. I had simply lost my love for the pages in between. In much the same way as cropping a photograph to give you what I think you want. Rather than the full picture which is just as beautiful in its own way.

Milo is pretty sure he can fit through the opening in the door.

For my last night in Norway I stayed in a hotel right at the fjord. So I had a nice and relaxed dinner, and when it was about time I just had to walk a couple of meters to shoot sunset. Great life :-)

Spring is in the air, and this hen is getting all the attention she wants, plus a little extra. Kaposia Landing in South Saint Paul, MN, USA

My first self-portrait in a long while and it felt really good.

So I've come to the realization that I don't have a certain "style" behind my photography. I just keep on switching from conceptual to fashion to something undefinable inbetween. And sometimes I like it that way because it shows that I'm still developing, progressing and learning. But then again I would like to find my place in the world of photography.

It was a beautiful Saturday evening and "InBetween" had been in my mind all day. I was walking back from my usual Saturday sauna when I saw this beautiful little mushroom growing inbetween two bushes of lingonberries. From the moment I saw it I knew it was going to be my FlickrFriday object! The sun was soon to set so I only had couple of minutes to take my camera from the house and shoot.

Lingonberries have not grown ripe yet but the mushroom, together with some of its colleagues, will end up being part of tomorrow's porcino risotto! 😋

inbetween the showers

Between of two is in-between

It’s halfway there

If you know what I mean

A rose between two thorns they say

Or you could put it another way

But in-between is where it fits

Between two films my canister sits

This I shot a while ago, but it fits the theme i think!

A moody shot taken from 'The Gate' on Mam Tor. Low cloud and mist coupled with the early morning sun and the rain laden storm clouds moving across made for some great shooting conditions. In the distance is the famous lone tree of Back Tor sandwiched inbetween Hollins Cross and Lose Hill.

Thanks for looking.
