just somewhere in between all other bicycles on the Amsterdam bicycle flat.

I went out exploring the other day and found this cute little brick shack with lots of cute photographable elements! I loved seeing this little heart in the space between the bricks. It reminded me that love surpasses all of other, more difficult, parts of life.

Day 188/366 of Project 365 (Monday, 2020 July 6 - 57th consecutive daily photo): Thanks to the angle of the morning sun, we are provided a brief glimpse of a pathway normally unseen, the nocturnal aerial journey of a prowling spider between the canopies of two trees on adjacent sides of a neighborhood street.

Ocean Beach, Hawke's Bay, New Zealand

I love that moment in time between the night and the dawn. In this shot the sunrise is not far away (about an hour) but it is still possible to see the stars in the sky, and even a few remaining parts of the Milky Way.

The bright light above the horizon is Venus, with the faint light of Mercury below and to her right.

"Arctic Alps"

The majestic Lyngen alps in Troms County, shot on Januar 24 2012, a night containing

spectacular auroras from the hugest solar flare in 7 years. This shot however was

done inbetween the most intense auroras, as I did not want the auroras to steal

all the attention from the beautiful landscape and mountaints. :)

Auroras was all over the skies this evening, which makes it fantastic for documenting

the phenomena, but more challenging to make a landscape photography which balances the

elements well.

The Lyngen Alps are a major tourist attraction, attracting freeride skiers from

all over the world, every year. Sadly the alps are dangerous and many people often

get injured and have to be rescued. The alps are known for the dangerous steep

walls, but also for it's beauty.

In the foreground a partially frozen pond, giving awesome reflections from the

wonderful aurora dancing over the alps.

Shot with 14mm on a full frame body, so you can imagine the alps are huge!

Very windy, and very cold this evening, but you seem to forget this when

standing there overwhelmed by natures finest displays.
